I have 2 computers


1- Win 10Home Gaming PC i7 + 1080Ti - here the game is closing after select mission in Menu
2- Win 10Pro Quad Q9650 + 1050Ti - here it works normally


on my PC I also had a problem with running the mission
but after reading comments about the sound problem on the German forum
and that the music track has changed in this version to mp3
I decided to remove the mp3 soundtrack from the game


all I had to do was move the file \ thesettlers3 \ Theme \ Track02.mp3
and the missions started to load

Well, I tried to delete every track, nothing change...
When I try to start a game (tutorial, missions, random map, etc), Settlers 3 crashs...

I still have not got a response from the support.

One of which is a file not found error (where file value is empty strangely)

I just saw that the thread "[TSHC] [KNOWN ISSUES] The Settlers History Collection | Forums" was updated today, but nothing is written about the Settlers 3 crash that we are experiencing here.

Any news Ubi ?

I noticed that moving the Track02.mp3 file allowed me to run the game because I had set up in the config
MusicMode = 2


but you do not have to move the file, just change it to 0
C: \ Users \ user name \ Documents \ TheSettlers3 \ config.json


"MusicMode": 1,
change to
"MusicMode": 0,


on my i7 for some reason soundtrack does not work on my i7 (=1)
where the game closes on the Menu , it helps (=0)
but the game works without soundtrack


and on Q9650 the soundtrack works at (=1)

Well, it's already "MusicMode": 0, ... I've turned off the music in the options.

I also tried to delete all the music from the game in the folder. It did not change anything

Interestingly..

does not exist. I have an open ticket with this and the rest still not working.
