I’m at level 50 on my play through and have a collected a fair bit of gear I imagine. None of the gear I have collected has shown up in VCS menu retroactively. For the gear I have since looted, none of the level based colour changes show up even though I’m level 50.

Sorry to hear this, was the gear looted prior to patch 1.0.7 or after the patch? Does any of the gear show in the visual customization feature? Would you be able to provide any screenshots showing what you see in game including any errors you might receive?

I have the same issue, as do many others on all platforms.

Any items you looted BEFORE the patch and still have on your character can be "triggered" by temporarily storing them on your boat, mind you
