Some dull, dreary, dirty, dark textures please.

Looking through all the wood textures for wood for generic assets, its like every wood has to be colourful or bright or a light shade.

    Mahogany.

    Old oak.

    Dark wood colours please!

And also for generic assets... pretty please, some derelict house type realistic textures. Dirt flowing downward where there has been water leakage, stains, and as the post title says, dull, dreary, beige thats dirty. Real life colours please in future.

There is only so much we can do with the lights. It would be great to have some actual dark pieces to start with. And yes I know we can add decals to the generics, but why take the long way round when you can simply make it right first time?

The planks for the wood textures are nearly all in one direction too. How about being able to angle the texture? AT least on the generic geometric pieces anyway.

This would seriously add to map making.

Its fine if its a ball-ache for you guys but theres so much potential. More game objective modes too. Or scripting that allows for creating our own game modes.

    And level-linking of course.

Ok rant over, have a nice morning, day, evening, night. And thanks in advance if any of these come off.

add bright colors, then Post FX in a dingy genre, or "dirty" filter effect after!

Doesnt work. As I said, there is only so much you can do with light effects. Plus those effects affect the whole map which nobody wants.

We need dark assets. Everything is way too bright and colourful - totally unrealistic.

Unfortunately, someone post FC2 and pre FC3 rolled out a thing to make every asset be colourful and cheerful. I hate that ****.
