    Caught Ubisoft in a lie

"If you missed a Live Event, don't worry: variations of the rewards will be available in the CORRESPONDING IN-GAME STORES, too. This way, you'll be able to get access to the same items, albeit with a different look."

This statement is made as a promise to those who missed out on live events, promising the same thing in the Live Event, but a bit different.

People have missed out on Arcade Noon and have been asking for the Marshal Uniform, there is no variation of the Marshal Uniform, and nothing that has a similiar look. Nothing with a bulletproof vest, proper holster, badge on the belt, gloves.

Ubisoft I'll be waiting on my promised Marshal Uniform.

You better read it again. It says "Person Rewards" The Marshal Outfit is a "Community Reward"

    /\ That is irrelevant.

The above quote doesn't mention anything about being explicitly regarding personal rewards. It just suggests that missing any rewards isn't a problem.
Which for some people, it clearly is.

It was in the statement right above it.

All personal LIVE EVENT rewards, granted for achieving the personal goal in a Live Event, will be added to the game automatically. They'll be either a vehicle or a weapon that you'll be able to find and equip in the USUAL PLACES.

If you missed a Live Event, don't worry: variations of the rewards will be available in the CORRESPONDING IN-GAME STORES, too. This way, you'll be able to get access to the same items, albeit with a different look.

I really don't give a hoot about the Marshal's Uniforms etc, I just play the game, never been one for dressing up, maybe on a rare Saturday night when the wife is out. (joking)

In principle though, its kind of discriminating against those who didn't have enough money to buy the game on release. Or might have thought I'll get it for my birthday in a couple months time or for whatever reason. I don't agree with this buy, use, burn and move on game culture and as someone has said, you should have the game for life and be able to play the servers for life if others are too.

Those who procured the rewards the first time round have the priviledge of having them months before anyone else but seems a bit unfair not to just add them at some point, and even more especially now that the whole issue is causing people to complain about it.

The Live Events ran their course and achieved what they achieved, keeping people fixated on playing the campaign etc. to get a new knuckle-duster or whatever. Now that there are not going to be any more new events, might as well just release those assets to the die-hards that still remain playing Far Cry.

After all, they are your actual fans.

    It just doesn't make sense.
They claim they don't want to give us things like the Marshal Uniform because it's "valuable" to early players, despite the fact that they ran other live events for us.
If they care about their fans, they'll permanently add the rest of the Live Events to shop so everybody can have fun.
