I know that these topics likely won't affect how a hero is added, but I post my idea. Hopefully, it will inspire something (a warlord rework if nothing else):

Praetorian
Class: Heavy
Difficulty: Medium (but whatever, the game classifies shugoki easy and berserker hard])
Role: Disabler, Controller

Lore (if anyone cares, I do to some extent): Praetorians are the royal guards of the Emperor from the Centurion's home (let's call it Rome, I know it is not, but easier for everyone). They are handpicked from the best soldiers, they are expected to serve with undying loyalty.

Look: I don't see a reason for genderlock. They are big, about conqueror size. Their weapon is a spatha (longer gladius) and a Roman towershield. They wear lorica segmentata, a bit more ceremonial and decorated version than centurions, capes on some armor (without the leopard fur). Their helmet is a more traditional, face revealing one. Since they act as honor guard beside real guard duties, they should have the impression of wearing elegant, expensive armors and clothing, with minimal skin reveal (face, plus hands at most). Has rusty, deep voice.

Moveset:

Chains:

Wrath of the Emperor: Any two part chains. All lights are 500ms (fast thrusts or cuts). All heavies are 700ms (powerful cuts). Finishers are uninterruptible. Lights deal 17, heavies deal 35.

Special moves:

Wolf's Claw: The Praetorian charges up a heavy, which becomes unblockable at 400ms, can be feinted at 800ms, hits at 1100. Deals 40 damage. Any heavy can be charged up by holding heavy. It appaers as a poweful thrust. It guarantees Praetorian Charge, and acts as a chain starter.

Ptaetorian March: The Praetorian slams his body with his shield raised into the target, pushing him/her back by 3 meters. Can be initiated after succesful attacks or by pressing gb during heavy startups or Wolf's Claw startup. It guarantees nothing, but drains stamina, and if held, it carries the target for additional 5 meters (for high stamina cost). Wallsplats for a short time (for a light only), and unbalances exhausted targets, or anyone if the Ptaetorian is in revenge mode. Acts as a chain starter. It's 600ms and is uninterruptible by anything (including any other bashes).

Tower of Limes: The Praetorian's Fullblock stance. Can be held as long as he has stamina, drains it slowly. The praetorian can slowly walk while holding it. Of course, he is vulnerable to guardbreaks, unblockable directional attacks and traps. Every recovery and every heavy (including Wolf's Claw) can be canceled into Tower of Limes. It doesn't affect stamina regen.
If the fullblock counters something, Pommelstrike is guaranteed. Deals 20 damage with a pommelbash to the head, blinds, acts as a chainstarter light. In addition, it can be canceled into Praetorian's March or zone at any time.

Zone Attack: Hits from the left with the edge of the shield (500ms, 15 damage, stagger on hit). The second attack is a right wide attack with the sword (700ms, 15 damage) that is armored, guaranteed if the first staggers the enemy, but isn't feintable. Both counts as heavy parry.

Feats:
1 Body Count, Conqueror, Iron Lungs
2 Centurion's March, Haymaker, Rock steady
3 Punch through, Second Wind, Unkillable
4 Catapult, Uninterruptible, Shieldwall

I couldn't come up with a full emote or execution list yet.
