I AM JUST TALKING ABOUT ANIMATION NOT GAMEPLAY. let me break it down for you i was implying they move around animation developers to save overhead costs. though i admit the standing idle animation for snake looked awkward. gameplay in metal gear sucked and was shallow but the animations are good, thats one of the main things that game got praised for. thats how people got immersed into the shallow gameplay. the way you slowly crouch down instead of plopping down like a bag of bricks. the fact you can dive out of danger. the way snake dynamically hugs the wall. its these details that create a bigger immersion in 3rd person shooters. even when snake hold his gun while sitting or prone you can circle the camera 360 degree and his body will respond dynamically to it, every animation in GRW is static.
again nobody said divison is a good game. crappy game too, again i didnt mention anything about gameplay, just talking about animation. the wall cover animations and animations in general are so much better then GRW. also the characters have weight to them when you move around, unlike GRW.
if you honestly think the animation is good in GRW, you need to go see an optometrist. your ai teammates and rebels have better animations then the player. wth
