Trick To Give An AI A Different Rifle
I'm not sure if someone has discovered this already, but there's a method to give the DLZ AI "Evil Corp Officer" an AK47, AR-C, or M-16. It only works with the three versions of this AI. And only with rifles.
It's pretty simple, you just have to place the desired gun in front of the AI, on the ground, barrel facing away from the AI.
If you explore/play the map, the AI should pick up this gun and use it like they normally do. But if the AI spawns during/close to combat, it will usually just pull out a 1911 instead. I haven't tested it with animation points.
This can be done with all of the objects in the "Rifles" category, but using anything other than the three previously listed will kinda break it. The animations won't work with most of the guns, and the AI won't shoot anything.
I thought this would be useful, I've seen many request for an option to give AI different guns.
