OK I can't drop any weapons, that's disappointing to hear.
To address you and the forums concerns: I normally carry a G2 sniper rifle and an MP7, those and the mandatory pistol fits my needs 99 percent of the time. But when an enemy helicopter is called in I have to swap the sniper rifle for my M121 because the SMG is useless compared to the metal eating M121 light machine gun. Because of the stupefying overload of new weapons that appeared from the Fallen Ghosts DLC I have to scroll up and down searching my loadout to find the weapon and in co-op where it is fast paced and the game doesn't take a smoke break with your friends while I idle away in my loadout, that's the difference between my friends and I being shot up or not. Not saying they can't protect themselves, it just that I'm not helping them and that sucks.
Also when it's time to blow stuff up for the mission it would be fun to whup out a solid unit grenade launcher to mete out some "blamage" and other such fun stuff. The guys I play with take a blistering fast approach to the game just plowing through it. I don't have time to sort through a giant toybox of junk weapons. They only slow down when stealth is a requirement. It's not fun when I can't keep up.
Again, none of this is a problem in solo play. Solo I'm a ghost. I try to finish a mission with nobody noticing I was there and nobody left alive. I have a lot of patience and I love the rush of doing the mission well. Also love to find a protected spot with ammo and set off a 4 alarm Unidad alert for the sheer fun of a knock down knuckle busting barroom brawl. Just saying I like to play other styles too.
Anyway, thanks for answering my question people. I won't take any more of your time.

I think a HIDE/SHOW option (separate inventory management screen) for all items (weapons, skins, gear, clothing, vehicles, etc.) combined with an option to list weapons according to a personalized priority (favorites) would solve most players' grievances.
I don't agree with a delete option for these reasons:
- If your account gets hacked, it gives said hacker the ability to delete anything and everything
- Potential for accidental deletions under lag, control device failure, getting smacked upside the head by a significant other, etc.
- BUGS and the ensuant PITA (esp. support) in remedying them. I think it's safe to say that Wildlands' locksmith has issues.
Type-based slots are already helpful enough. And not only that, muscle memory also helps me finding the weapon I want to swap with quickly. It's not like the inventory is a rubik's cube.
Either way, there should be a Favorite slot that sorts out only your favorite ones just to complete it.
Most importantly when co-op, plan the f*ck out of your loadout. If your friends have tendency to blow things up and you want too, then prepare one GL rifle handy. And that goes the other way around, give your team some roles. Just because your teammates whipping out GL, doesn't mean you have to follow. Also, communicate. "Guys, I need to change my gun.", " Guys, do we go silent or loud next?" may work wonders to manage a team that run around like their beard's on fire.

And yea, funny how you want to 'drop' or 'delete' weapon while others are crying they can't unlock weapon due to bug and some others complain they can't have all the weapons including the paid ones for free.
This sh*t never gets old
ROTFLMAO.... Thanks for this most entertaining and astute postOriginally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post![]()
I have used the BFG-50A to take out helicopters. It's an anti-materiel weapon, so it's supposed to be able to stop vehicles. However, I prefer using the SR25. It requires more shots, but it can take out helicopters and it handles better for anti-personnel sniping.Originally Posted by theBattleCat Go to original post
I've been playing around with other weapons and I found out I can take out helicopters with the SR-635. It's supposed to be an SMG, but it does a ridiculous amount of damage. The trade-off is that it has a lot of recoil.
I have level-one VHC Destruction and the Bonus Medal. That gives me a 40% increase in vehicle destruction. If you max out your VHC Destruction, you'll be surprised how easy it becomes to shoot down helicopters. The downside is that you may accidentally blow up vehicles that you didn't want to destroy.
