Too many weapons in my inventory, can I drop them?

I was not picking up any weapons except those that I knew I wanted to use because the weapons inventory gets so full it becomes very difficult to swap out a weapon quickly. I want to have quick access to 4 weapons: an SMG, sniper rifle, light machine gun and sometimes the assault rifle for it's grenade launcher. There are quick use slots for two of those weapons, the others I need to equip by opening my loadout and scrolling through my inventory. When I bought the Fallen Ghosts DLC it packed my inventory so full of weapons that I don't want or care about that it has become frustrating to quickly grab the right weapon. It's become so cumbersome that I can't play the game co-op and be effective. At least in solo play the game stops while I thumb through the massive inventory.

Is there a way to delete, drop, or otherwise render invisible the weapons I have no use for?
Is there a way to uninstall the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC?

    Please help.

how often do you swap weapons on a mission? i usually go trough the whole campaign with the same weapons, a pistol, once selected the one you want no need to change it, a sniper rifle, same as before and a third one that could be your problem, since can be any of the other categories, just make sure you get the one that fit best for what you're doing, fallen ghost weapons where added to the main game because the community asked for it and even if you uninstall FG i don't think the weapons will go away since you own the DLC.

Concur with GAP_Computer - you basically should go thru a campaign with your established weapons, and forget/ignore the others. A little self-discipline goes a long way in this game.

^The above. I basically narrow it down to Damage, Fire Rate, Accuracy, and Suppression Noise. Beyond that it has to shoot tight groupings EG low recoil. I'm about 40% through my Extreme No HUD/Upgrades run on the main campaign and so far I've only used the M40AS for sniping, upgrading once to a better scope, the M1911 Golden for pistol, and the 416 and MP7 for primary. I collect all weapons and parts just for the hell of it to take a break from normal missions, but since I use very few of them I don't typically have to scroll through them.

I'm going to concur with those above. My load out, since it became available is the 416 and the P12. I may change barrel length and scope on the 416 dependent upon the mission. I'll use the ACOG and long barrel when I need to snipe something(have taken down targets up to 400m that way). Standard barrel and EXPS3 for standard usage. Short barrel and Micro-T for in close work/room clearing.
If I'm not in Ghostmode second slot will be the super shorty(I head cannon that Nomad is the breacher, and thus that makes sense). I've only ever switched over to a sniper rifle for the Boston Reed mission, and there is a helpful ammo box there and all the time in the world before you have to type the code into the computer thing to get him to show up(assuming you've already cleared the area). An MP-7 will also work for that second slot, as a lot of guys would carry those to go whisper in snatch and grabs. Sadly their noise profile in game seems to be a lot louder than in real life, but it is a game.
One thing I've really enjoyed about Ghost Mode and which I really hope UBI will make an option in regular campaign mode, is the inability to switch weapons away from ammo boxes. It makes you thing through your missions more, and adds a lot of realism.

Same here. Try NOT changing weapons for awhile.

In Ghost Mode, you’re forced to only swap weapons at ammo boxes which I don’t mind as I’ve largely used the same rifle for half the game now. I use a MK17 kitted out for max range and it’s a very versatile weapon, especially combined with a pistol. After sighting it in, I can easily hit any target out to 350m.

If I’m going to take a convoy or do a defensive mission, I’ll equip a LMG for the added ammo and less reloading.

Sometimes I’ll try different weapons like a shotgun in some situations (Rebel Ops Comm Center for example) but that’s rare.

I usually keep the same weapons equipped most of the time, an AR and sniper, but will switch to an SMG, or LMG, if the situation requires. So it would be nice if you could maybe add several to a favourites tab. But at least you are not left vulnerable when in the loadout screen, so you don't have to worry about getting spotted and killed, while trying to find that certain weapon, for the job.

Could you give us an example of a situation where you need to switch weapons quickly in co-op play? We might be able to think of a workaround if we had more information.

Ah yes, the LMG, knew I was forgetting something. I tend to use them just for choppers mostly, and waves. Since I'm only doing main mission convoys I've sufficed with a grenade, a Fire command, and the MP7.
