AC:Odyssey Major Framerate Drop/Enemies on Fire Bug

    Hi Ubisoft,

Absolutely loving Odyssey at the moment, 50 hours in and can't get enough! The only problem is one extremely strange bug in the game that ultimately crashes the game and ruining the experience.

When exploring and sneaking around certain military forts across Greece (mainly Xerxes Military Fort in Lokris & Demiurgi Fort in Elis) there are times where the game will massively drop in framerate and the soldiers guarding the base will strangely scream that they're on fire (?), all whilst stuck in 1 frame per second. Then, sometimes, the game won't respond at all, and it will eventually crash.

This is an extremely frustrating bug that needs to be fixed, since this almost stops the idea of exploring forts in the game and pillaging Nation Chests, recruiting soldiers and etc.

If anyone experiences these same exact issues on the PS4, reply back on this thread. And, if you've taken the time to read this issue Ubisoft, thanks and I hope this issue will be quickly resolved!

It happened to me a couple times on patch 1.05 but stopped on patch 1.06 so I thought they fixed it until a couple days ago it happened again

Hey kulekrizpy, thanks for reaching out, welcome to forums and apologies about the delayed response from our team.

Most stability issues have been addressed with the release of our title updates.

If however you're still experiencing stuttering and/or frame drops, we would appreciate if you could forward us your save files and provide video footage showing FPS drops.

You can find further details regarding save files via the following link.

Should you have any questions in the meantime, let us know!
