I can no longer switch between accounts. Usually in the settings menu under the green controller icon I can switch between multiple accounts. This morning when I click on the icon it now shows my achievements.

Same problem. I can't log in to my 2nd account at all. Just get those achievements when I go to switch out. Can't do it from Google play either.

I've managed to switch accounts deleting the data of the game in Settings/Apps/SPPD... but it's a 500MB+ download to restart the game, so WIFI is advised!

I guess they dont want us to be able to use 2 accounts because of the double pvp weekend

This was not a choice the South Park: Phone Destroyer team made. This was a Google Play change, which we do not have control over.
