I'm still trying to figure out how this conversation has actually broken any forum rules. It's a conversation that didn't go the way you wanted it to. You're not trapped into it, nor has anyone (to my knowledge) attacked you. I brought up points, you brought up points, I brought up more points, etc. There's been no name calling or attacks between us. Just disagreement. We didn't see eye to eye on this issue. Regrettable, but that's still an abuse of "report post" IMO. The optics of it quite look like you're trying to get someone banned or a thread locked because you didn't get your way. Honestly, you seem more intelligent than that.There's a little "Report Post" button on all our posts, we're all free to use them when we feel a post, or thread has, or will begin to break forum rules. This thread here, I feel, is way past that. Myself and a few others have tried to be polite and reasonable with you, others less so. At this point I simply believe there's enough ground to warrant a lock here, for a number of reasons.

You're absolutely right, you and me are just fine, but almost every other post except ours has been rather provocative towards you, and that doesn't seem to be slowing down. Most people just don't agree with your ideas outright, and they disagree to such an extent that they won't bother typing out longer posts about why they don't. Even though we've been on opposite sides of this issue at nearly every turn, I've had no frustration or anger. We can't police the world, and if people want to come in here just to throw salt, that's on them. I'm not going to fight to keep the thread open. Just a few pages back I was of the mindset to walk away from it anyways. Just curiosity brought me back, and then I started responding to primarily your posts because they were intelligent replies. I reported one guy for a deliberate personal attack after I tried to be considerate to him and warn him about flaming. Other than that, it's been you and I.
If you're frustrated, I understand. No mas, here. But if it's because of others, it may be a good idea not to bury that lead.

Even if the thread is locked, people can still read it, and draw their own conclusions, and I still feel like your questions would be best answered by the Rainbow Six team.
But since we're just spinning our wheels here, I feel no need to go on, and since no one else seems interested in engaging with you without snark, I'd say just let it end here and we can all move on. Before it all descends into personal attacks and a flame war.

Regardless, only some people are capable of such a debate while others refuse to entertain any thoughts outside of their own. That can't be helped, and it's killed many an innocent discussion. I'm not fortunate enough to have any Dutch beer or German strawberry wine about, but I do have some freshly ground native coffee here that I'll raise to you.
