Since a few patches back my chat and command menue is not working properly ingame.
Sometimes it is there for a few minutes. Sometimes I can only see parts of it (and can't type). Some other time it's there but when I send a command the text doesn't appear and I can't chat either.
What's going on there?

I see you play in Uplay. Have you updated Uplay recently? Try uninstalling it, installing the latest version, and then running Uplay as administrator.
If you have continued issues try disabling any overlays that may be conflicting with the Uplay overlay.
