Do these talents not work with Classified AB? I've tried a few different weapons with Sig skill talents and they don't seem to do jack diddly with AB classified, and honestly, I feel that is a bit of an oversight.
That makes about as much sense as an ashtray on a motorcycle.
It's about as dumb as if you disabled Brutal on Hunter's Faith and Sentry classified sets, and Deadly on Deadeye. Or disabled Predatory, Sustained, and Self-Preserved on Strikers.
They probably consider it overpowered to have signature talents as well as the six-piece AB talent. Besides that, they would introduce a slew of mechanics issues. What happens when your AB signature talent comes into affect and then you or a team mate engage the same signature talent? What happens when your signature talent is already engaged and then your AB signature talent comes on?
AB six-piece is as good as set as many others in this game but for non-legendary/heroic PvE it can be a lot of fun.
The main issue with the six-piece AB talent is that it requires a balance of Firearms, Stamina and Electronics and this is in opposition to the benefits of the four-piece AB talent. This is the only set in the game where talents opposed eachother.
Your Signature skill activations are attached to your set, and are separate from your team mates. Meaning your links only affect you. And you are immune to your team mates links. Which is why I don't understand why the signature skill talents dont work with AB.
And give it a rest with the stats needs balance, thats not a deal breaker. In fact, a decent AB kills pretty damn quick that I have found, and the only negative is having to use your brain for once, and ammo management. Basically don't kill all the little guys first if big heavies are around. And bullets run fairly sparse, and with this set I find myself wishing that we had the ability to set weapon loadouts as well as whole sets. So I could easily switch between 2 loadouts of weapons. That way when I run out of AR rounds, I can easily switch to SMG or shotgun without having to spend a few minutes in my menu equipping them individually.
My AB is set up mostly with crit in mind, and it does a damn fine job at it, especially with the stacking of the additional talent, meaning my main Ar has Vicious, Deadly, Self Preserved, and Fierce, and let me tell you. Combined with Pulse and pulse mods. My mp7 alone for my smg set has 60% crit chance without Pulse. My AR has 45% and 105% extra Crit damage.

I would love a fan made set that revolves around something other than pure dps, or tanking damage. Or a offshoot support build like Reclaimer.
Let's take a hit at a fan made set idea from me.
S.P.R.K
2 piece bonus - 20% Disrupt, Bleed, Disorient, Shock duration to enemies. (You hit an enemy with a EMP grenade, or flashbang and the duration the enemy is under the effects is increased by 20%)
3 piece bonus - 30% less Disrupt, Bleed, Disorient, Shock duration to self. (Self explanatory)
4pc S.T.N.R Mk I - Hitting an enemy 10 times in a row has a fast Trojan uploaded by ISAC to any electronic device on their body which then explodes which inflicts a 5m wide burst of disorienting light and sound, stunning enemies briefly causing them to cease combat with Agents until the effect wears off. This effect is disabled when affected by jammers or EMP.
5 piece bonus - Carrying capacity for flashbang, shock, and emp grenades increased by 3.
6pc S.T.N.R. MkII - Killing an enemy affected by Mk I status causes any devices left on enemy bodies to release a small yield EMP blast, disrupting skills and abilities of all enemies within 5m. This effect is disabled if player is affected by jammer or EMP.
I know this is kinda similar to the old BLIND set, which was the first set I ever completed and I enjoyed it, but always thought the timer on enemies exploding to a flash needed reduced and the radius of effect needed increased because enemies always seemed to just stand up and run away from the red ring of effect without ever really being affected.
This set would play more to an actual crowd control setup, which would be ideal for team scenarios where you have a DPS, a tank, a healer type, and someone who can actually control enemy actions and behaviors.

Those talents would probably be overpowering since Signature skills aren't normally active as often as they are with 6-piece AB.
Commanding and Dominant would be for sure. Skilled and Trained would be pointless since that resource building mechanic isn't used when 6-piece AB is in effect.
