why no 1st persion view ?

    ..as the title asks:
is it a technical problem with the engine, or for the consoleplayers.
shure it is a problem in pvp, but in pve ??

Enough money was made in TPV alone so no need to make FPV

There was already a thread created to discuss this.

As my colleague states in that thread; we're passing the feedback along and we're not aware of any plans to bring first-person to Wildlands.

Because basically there's no money to be made ... ?

Certainly not in single-player mode anyway ...

In a stealth based game, it's a huge advantage to have a 3rd person view of your character so you can see how well they are leveraging cover and concealment. If you're always in first-person perspective, you can't tell if you're hidden or not.

How can you not? do you all of a sudden go blind when in First Person view?

And I have been covered under a rock in Wildlands and barely seeing the enemy from the miracle third eye we all seem to have when playing TPV and I have managed to get shot and killed so what good is it if you see whether you are in cover? Does it piss you off less or more knowing that you are but you still got shot dead?

I think the devs would add every request to the game if it were possible. We'll absolutely continue to let the team know there's an interest (particularly me, since I love first-person perspective games). Not adding every suggested feature to the game does not signal a lack of respect.

Perhaps that last part should be re-worded, as it's completely false in my experience in a FPV shooter game, especially the Far Cry series, on the PC, for example.
