Can you do a Jesus card legally? | Forums

Ive been told you can't make cards based on celebrities portrayed in south park but is jesus an exception? He's not owned by anyone and if the church tries to sue you for copyright infringement, that's like saying he's an imaginary character that they thought of. But they claim he is real and existed in a literal sense. It would be a sweet mystical addition. He could have a charge where he puts on some shades and throws that boomerang ninja star blade in a circle around him that does area damage. Remember the Easter bunny episode when he slices Bill Donohue in half?
Plus you guys would get some outrage press. They say all press is good press.

Nothing illegal about it, just depends how much they are afraid to piss off religious people. But hey it's South Park so I say go for it!
