I am having the same issue on our Switch and have put in CASE NUMBER: 07417782. They were not able to help me there. I have verified I can access internet without issue on the Switch but I keep getting the below error when I try to create a new account or try to login with the account I created on my laptop:
Connection Error
The Ubisoft server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later.
Anyone have any suggestions or tips to resolve? I've tried restarting the game and it's been happening for a couple of days now.

Having the same issue as everyone here. I see at least 2 posts from the community representatives about contacting the support team. I cannot even click on the link it doesn't lead anywhere. Did anyone get a chance to contact the support team and if so, was it helpful?
By the way, I already have a setup with static ip, DMZ and all.
I bought JD 2019 a couple days ago and started playing just yesterday. Just like everyone else, I'm also unable to create a Ubisoft Account in-game (says the servers are down) and even trying to log in my account (created on a PC from the Ubisoft website) says the account does not exist.
Mind you, I already purchased the 1-year JD Unlimited subscription from the Nintendo e-Shop so the clock is ticking but I'm unable to even use it
So yeah... pretty disgusted with all this. And we're all expected to just wait til Ubisoft fixes this
