I have this problem with For Honor, after update on 1st November I can't run it. I turn on the game, it just opens in a window mode and I have black screen there, all I can see is (forhonor type)cursor. The game has been running smoothly until the update. I contacted support and they gave me 3 possible solutions: 1. Disable all services in msconfig (didn't work) 2. Update GPU drivers (didn't work) 3. Create a new account (I won't do that, it can't possibly be problem with account)
I personally tried some options: 1. Verified game files if everything is okay(all is in it's place) 2. Moved soundpackages to Disk C and connected the folder to For honor folder via symlink (didn't work), I haven't tried reinstalling the game because I was chatting with people on reddit and they seem to have the same problem, but reinstalling the game wasn't useful.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium 3.20GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
I found out that every person I checked with the same issue has NVIDIA GeForce GTX (I checked like 3 other people). One of the guys says he contacted support and they came to a solution that guy from support team will contact internal team, because they can't seem to find a way out of this. I've been waiting for 3 days for an answer from Ubisoft support and they still haven't aswered, I understand that they have a lot of people waiting for answer so I'm patiently wating, fingers crossed.
Does anyone of you have the same issue or possible solution to this?

I have the same problem , but i dont have Nvidia , i have AMD

Your "support" doesn't help. Just told me to do all the things I had already done. Suprise, it didn't work.

Support is just meant to give you information on solving known problems. This issue doesn’t have a solution yet and they’re asking for our ticket number so they can collect your specs and see what we have in common.

I did not have this problem before. I was only having the update of November 1 that gave this. When I start the for honor is black screen and in window mode only with the arrow of for honor and without sound.
