Hello everyone ,
i gonna list the things here i encountered while playing marching fire and before! (PC VERSION)
These are ideas and constructive critics cause i realy like this game and i want to help.
Berserker : (i never played him) It looks like that this class now does more dmg while spinning and has super armor while doing it , it feels like the stamina is higher or is depleting slower.
Shugoki: Before MF released i thought shugoki has a minor thing that is to strong , which is the dmg or the super armor . I understand that shugoki is very slow but deals high dmg. But why does shugoki (with his grab when he runs towards you and breaks your back over his shoulder) 1000 damage that in my eyes is way to strong.
Nobushi : Before MF nobushi was still to strong in one part the bleeding dmg , if you get hit 3-4 times with the bleeding attack the nobushi can run away or dodge back(you get the idea) and you will just bleed out.
Peackeeper: same as nobushi just like 1-2 dmg lowering the bleeding dmg.
Warlord : ( i played him before and after MF ) While playing him at dominion before MF you could do "combos" towards the soldiers (for example light hit then heavy hit) and it chained into new cool animations but that is gone since MF which makes killing soldiers very difficult now.
Nuxia : Nuxia (for me) is nearly impossible to even block let alone to parry , even if you are fast enough and move the cursor to the designated stop she still hits you.
Jiang Jun : Jian Jun is the most overpowered character i have ever seen in for honor , he does dmg like a heavy ( well he is one you got me there) but he is fast as an assassin. His moveset is so strange that he can change the move from a light to a unbreakable heavy to a light from the other side. He does dmg around him (Which is not lowered or something).
Shaolin: since my shaolin is like Rep. 16 or somehting , i can tell that the shaolin is strong but a glass cannon(which is good) but shaolin needs a super armor when he does the jump attack out of the qi-stance , it makes no sense that you can just light attack him and his attack is canceld , if you do that do that to berserker and all the other classes to please.
Blocking: Blocking is so strange now .. You block the attack but you still get hit (full dmg) then you block it works (it feels like it does what it wants)
Parrying: Parrying was always difficult in For honor (in my opinion) but since MF it just got nearly impossible , maybe the Fighting designers tried to make it more " Fighting Stylish(is that even a word?) " which is a great idea BUT it doesnt work if you have latency. It feels like the reaction window is reduced or the attacks are just slower.
Soldiers : Soldiers do now more dmg are a bigger threat than before ( i like that) but the fact you cant execute somebody or revive while there is a soldier nearby makes the situation realy frustating and unfair while playing breach.
Perk System: everybody is losing it because of the perk system , in my eyes perks are not the big problem. For me , i just dont know what to pick but i/you will get used to it.
Servers: While playing ,before and after MF , alot of times you just get kicked out of the game cause you lost connection to the servers or some other errors ,
a reconnection function would be great, maybe give the players in a dominion match 1-2 minutes and in a breach about 3-4 minutes to reconnect that would be great.
matchmaking : since MF it feels like that most of the players are ESL playing veterans.
Breach : it feels like , breach is kinda laggy , or maybe it is completely different from dominion , cause at dominion everything works fine (parrys and blocks etc) but at breach .. they dont ..
After match: It would be nice if the Leveling up "window" that appears when you level up , is faster or skipable because if you level up like 2-3 levels, you cant do anything for a amount of time.
if you play with controller on pc and you want to dismantle gear before the next match , you need to hold down X or A (depending on your controller). It would be great if could just click it and then say yes or no like we do with Keyboard and Mouse. That would spare alot of time.
Chat: alot of times my "Quick Chat" option disappears , i can still use it but cant see what the commandos are.(plattform PC). It would be great if the message that tells me who joint or left would be in the chat window or somewhere different but it just overlaps the whole chat .. and when somebody wrote something you are not able to read it.
User Interface: When playing Dominion or Breach , when you play dominion for example and your team is breaking . Your UI is so full of notifications and messages you cant see anything. Maybe this could be made a little bit smaller so you can still fight when those messages appear .
Commander: The commander is to weak and the Shugoki can grab him and break his"back" over his shoulder all the time. Maybe a little stronger commander and not grabable so this move cannot be abused by the shugoki.
Balista: The Balista in Breach damage wise towards the players , is okay but towards the Commander its to much. You can easly and fast kill the commander with the balista.
Servers: Since we have dedicated servers(thanks for that again btw) the game went a good uphill , but since MF it just went downhill , you get hit when you should not you hit people that you should not hit. People get kicked out for no reason, cant rejoin. It feels like its Ping based cause when you have a low ping( i mostly play with 7-15Latency (even while streaming with 5k upload)) you hit people that you should not hit.
(New edit into here )Effects on your Character: When you get hit like a stun for example from the Raider or the Centurio you whole screen flashes white (i understand the idea behind that) but after like 1 hour gameplay i get a headache from that and would be great if you could turn that off or find a solution for that.
