    Frustrating Matchmaking Scenarios

I have to be honest I'm sick and tired of being matched up against players who have Level 5 and Level 6 units, when I do the have a single Level 5 unit yet, not ONE!
There is NOTHING that I can do against someone who is running a ton of Level 5 units, and then drops a Level 6 Mimsy, a Level 6 Mimsy WILL take 2 bars 70% of the time, and WILL take 1 bar 100% of the time.
All they play is a Level 6 Mimsy, and then when I have a hunch of units out to try to handle it, Arrowstorm.
If I transmogrify, I have tocstill deal with a Level 5 Nathan, a Level 5 Terrance Mephisto, a Level 2 Mecha Timmy, and a Level 4 Dogpoo, amongst other level 5 units like Ike's and Clydes, and Heidi.

What the hell do I do, why the hell am I being primarily matched against these players? I'm not donating cards anymore because I fear it has inflated my NK Level.

I've also for sure been paired up against players who have not only been to Legendary, but have been in Legendary long enough or lucky enough to have found Incan Craig. I haven't even been past Rank 45, and just got matched against 4 people in a row who were significantly higher NK and Unit level than myself.
    WHY?

yea same, had a busy day, so started event really late, it is wrecking my event, matches at lower L, gone from 8400 to 7200 just because of constant match after match against players who should have 3000-4000 more ELO MINIMUM... I am sick of this RL really need to get themselves into gear and start sorting it, sick of losing my hard won rank to these clowns, and missing out on event rewards .

Hooray, had to deal with my first level 7 card, didn't really notice at first, then I saw +143 and cried, I don't even have a single level 5 card, this is a problem

This is really my only problem besides some balance tweaking here and there, but over all this is a huge glaring issue.

I've read the thread, and Ubi-Toller said very little on the topic. More threads on a topic means more community backlash, more community backlash means they might actually focus on the problem. I don't typically like to complain, since I enjoy the game quite a lot but I'm at a loss.

Originally wanted to complain myself as a returning player, but it looks like the game's still the same and then some. For me it was relatively fair progression from 13 to 15, maybe too fair, but... then like 3-4 fight loss streak, because I was paired with people who have 1\2 more levels and Randy only knows how many more card levels, and I lose everything. No new arena. Why was I even ranking up if I can lose ranks. Just so I could throw to lose more ranks and enjoy the game by not letting others enjoy it?

However, guys, if that's of any consolation, let me answer this question for you and for me:

Ubisoft is a company. A company that has working people. These people have studied, probably, and are currently feeding their families. Now, mind you, SP creators have little to nothing to do with this game, only a bunch of these "developers" do. They developers work in a subsidiary of Ubisoft, a rather big publisher. The publisher needs money, the SP creators need money and this is why these guys have to work.

The point here is that this isn't some passionate creation, or a popular game... This is a mobile title that's created to make money. First and foremost. You can't expect fairness or any kind of developer transparency, let alone equality.

Why? Because this is a F2P game. And in F2P system, there are two kinds of people: target audience and the fodder. The target audience is, first of all, willing to pay, for them the game has all the bells and whistles. But preferably - this audience has to pay a lot. Matt and Trey themselves have exposed it back when they were more interested in writing the Stick of Truth. Well, maybe they haven't thought about it hitting them in the back - but Phone Destroyer is what it is.

However, beyond the satire of South Park creators, the deal of F2P system is that there has to be encouragement for the target audience. Why would anyone pay a dime if he's going to be alone? If he won't pwn someone? This is why there is fodder, and why there MUST be fodder. Then there is the skilled fodder, or fodder that thinks that donating 10-20$ is good for the guys working to feed their families. That's still fodder, just on a different level.
To keep fodder in - they have events and all kinds of freebies that suggest either farm or skill-based progression. Well, skill-based progression might be an overstatement, seeing how players far higher than me are struggling. After all, this isn't CS:GO, this isn't a medieval battlefield. This is not only an RNG-based game, but ultimately a game where a number is thrown against a number. And 3>2. I've heard about masterful mathematicians dividing by zero or something, but I don't think there exists a level of skill that can somehow prove that 3<2.

So we must just realize our positions in the F2P system. Are we those that can pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars, are we the people, who pay for this whole thing, to whom the developers are almost as obliged as to their publishers? Because if we are - we will have far more cards than anyone, far more resources, we "almost" won't be limited by anything and the true ceiling will be the skill. Will be paying to compensate for the lack of it - or supplant its abundance to reach the very top?
Because sure as the sun will rise - this is the only way to reach the top. One doesn't get there without being the target audience. Otherwise the F2P system breaks. Even if there are too many players - that just means that there is too much target audience competing with each other, making the developers buy another car or two.

Or are we the fodder? I won't speak for you, because this post is probably already breaking all rules of conduct, so name calling or assumptions will likely be the end of it.
However, if one does find themselves in the fodder group - then they must accept their position and look at the big picture.
They are losing their matches so that the target audience could exist. And the target audience exists so that the game could exist. And the game exists... Well, frankly, for no good reason, I've already covered that.
However, in theoretical astrophysics, the game exists for us to have fun. Now, I suppose the second most debatable subject after the existence of God - is the nature of "fun".
So, if, for you, this game could be classified as "fun", you know, the process of sending pixels at pixels, hearing them scream, collecting pixels, spending pixels, looking at fancy pictures, thinking that you are playing a South Park game - then you must, as a fodder, simply try to have "fun". Otherwise, stop lying to yourself.
And if some fodder regrets donating, thinking that they would get somewhere - we all make mistakes. Some people make bigger mistakes than most.

Because let's imagine that a developer makes such a mistake. He feels bad for the fodder and he tries to balance the matchmaking, thinking that this is about as right as to donate some 20$ as a sign of appreciation for the game. Well, the next thing he knows is that the "target audience" is unhappy. Not the fodder, no. The ones, who are paying. When a fodder quits the game - it's like... you know, the whole "if a tree falls in an empty forest - does it make a sound?"
But if the target audience leaves the game - the quarterly quota is not met. Which prompts other hard working people to look into it. And when a Good Samaritan is found - they aren't thanked with a 20$ donation. They are replaced like a card. Of course, that's an exaggeration, but it's also the nature of business.

So don't make such mistakes, nor expect others to make them. Either play for those, who run the whole thing, or become them.

P.S.: It might be excessive, last time I've only let out my frustration in a mere two star Google Player review. But I think such reflections are still better than raging or farting at your opponent.

However, if anyone is still reading, as a new fodder - I'd generally like to know if there is an option to forfeit. Last time I played - I was throwing matches to balance out my score, I was killing the game process, because that's still faster than waiting for the match to end. But it seems that they've made it a "per-phone" system, and it's supposed to reward players sticking around, trying to not let the enemy get 3 phones(kind of reminds me of "3-starring" in another game), but it's rather tedious.

So the one thing that could more or less help the fodder like me, I could only hope, without damaging the target audience - is the forfeit button. Because otherwise throwing games is doable even now, it's just more annoying.
Then again, getting 3 phones isn't enough. If the target audience doesn't feel like it has done something, achieved something, let alone if it sees the game end abruptly into a victory screen - well, that might just be the mistake I was talking about.
Yeah... mobile freemium is a tough for everyone.

I'm far from free to play, so don't come in here assuming you're talking to free users complaining about the freemium system, cause that's not what I'm doing. I'm complaining about a matchmaking system that could really easily be improved with one simple little tweak, particularly a system that trys to match players against people with similar Card levels, and THEN NK levels, only if the system can't find both similar card and nk levels, would it pair up varying levels of NK's, and then Cards. Card levels should take priority in matchmaking.
I can pretty easily handle players who only have a 1, 2, or even 3 New Kid level discrepancy, given that I play smart and they make even a single mistake.
All I was hoping for is that someday a card level limit gets implimented in the matchmaking, cause the only thing that consistently screws me over in PvP is running into someone with Cards that are 1-2 levels higher than my own units. I can handle 1
card level higher most times, but 2 levels and things get quite difficult, and 3 unit levels is unbeatable for me unless the enemy makes grave and dramatic mistakes.
