Yeah, it's really cool seeing the thought and creativity put into all of it (I agree about Dark Lorde Randy being a really ingenious play on words). However, I still strongly believe all other potential themes need to be placed on the backburner until we get our superhero theme 😉

Got a question and a suggestion or two about The Canadian Devil on the Facebook page.
(Posting here until I can do so if my request is accepted.)
Firstly, summarizing his card text to:
Warcry: Enemy cards cost +1 energy to play for 30 seconds.
The reason for this is to clean up the card a bit, as 4 lines of text on a card is rather crowded, no other card except for Bounty Hunter Kyle is that long, but he basically has 2 abilities.

My second suggestion would be to either shorten that time to like, 3.5 seconds at level 1, to like 10.5 seconds at level 7, or to increase his energy cost to 8, and make him legendary because that is a VERY strong ability.

As for my question, can the effect be cleansed by Purify like anything else?

Sorry I missed your message earlier! Thanks for the feedback

We imagined the effect could be purified, yes. The Canadian Devil got quite a bit of criticism along those lines - we were trying to come up with a counter to the Mystical Energy Staff/Hermes Kenny combo, and also thought Pastor Craig's power was a good model, but might have gone too powerful. Someone else suggested a 20sec power instead and maybe 6 cost. We probably will jig the text about a bit to reflect this and be a bit clearer too.
