I felt it necessary to manually post a redirect thread to this video guide I'm making because the so called "redirect" UbiInsulin promised me for this forum when he hijacked the guide and placed it in the much lower traffic Community Creations forum no longer bumps when I post new videos like it used to. I find this very insulting and unfair. I put a hell of a lot of work into this guide and am not allowed to post it here like others are doing, where it gets viewed far more. We've had this discussion before and most agreed that videos placed here get seen more. How can you justifiably call it a redirect when it no longer bumps when I add new content? No one is ever going to see the redirect link when you let it fade into obscurity.
I'll add that while I've seen a lot of forum members knock Tom's Hardware for having a lot of naive members, they not only enforce it pretty judicially, especially considering how massive a membership it has, they also treat those offering tons of hours of tutorial work with respect. Their tutorial thread posting option gives you full access to editing and bumping the thread, no matter how long it is, or how many videos, and you can choose whatever forum you want to put it in. They treat such content with high regard, whereas you guys just stuff them away in a low activity forum. You may not see it as such, but it's a lot like thumbing your nose at the most avid fans of the game.

Awesome content! It inspired my to play through in Ghost Mode with very few skills in Extreme Difficulty. It’s been a fantastic challenge. I’ve died a couple times but due to backup saves, I’m still moving forward.
BTW, didn’t you know this forum isn’t for useful content, just for whiners about bugs and endless suggestions that will never happen? There’s no room here for people who actually enjoy playing this game and sharing ideas on how to play.

Thanks guys, you've inspired me to keep at it. I'm now in Malca and have captured and edit/compressed the first two missions so far. El Chido is going to be hard if even possible to do with stealth having just one squad mate to sync shot with. I may have to catch him in his car instead, but I really don't want to resort to that since with no upgrades I don't have access to the armored SUV. I'll have to maybe combine different methods.
I don't know I'd go as far to say this forum is only for whiners anymore, but sadly it's getting a much higher percentage of rant threads these days. And for the record, I'm not intending to label UbiInsulin as a bad mod, but I AM hoping to hear from him on this issue, as I'm not sure whether he knew the redirect would not bump. It's kinda useless since it doesn't though. Maintaining communication is key on these issues.

Hey there! Was out sick yesterday, so sorry for the delay in replying.
There was no intent to thumb my nose at you.I moved the thread for the reason I stated (i.e. because that's where it theoretically belongs) and left a one week redirect link on General Discussion. I watched several of the videos for fun on the day you posted them.
I totally missed where we landed on this issue after the last big discussion though. I assumed we were still moving videos to keep things more organized.
Gonna lock this thread and move the other one back. My fault!
