    Generated Terrain Types and Oceans

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I didn't find anything in my searches.

I always start with an empty map when creating a level. But just for the hell of it I tried some of the generated terrain types and noticed on some there's a large circular water surrounding the map limit. Much larger than the max 512x512 Lake object.

Lake object placed over for size:

    Jungle - green water
    Savanna - brown
    Swamp - brown
    Rocky Island - dark blue/green
    Outerworld - turquoise

There's doesn't seem to be a way to alter the colors/wave action, is there a way to get this large water on an empty map?

I guess the workaround would be to generate a map and then delete the vegetation and color palette, smooth out the terrain and begin again as though it were an empty map...

The ocean can be changed under the water menu. The default water level of 0 means no ocean, just increase that and wait a minute and you should see the ocean appear.

Thanks, I don't know how I missed that setting all this time! I was trying to change it under Environment...
