Hi guys,
As a member of TPC, I can tell you we do share many of your concerns and i can also assure you that feedback such as this thread has been fast forwarded directly to the devs.
Just as many of you, also we don't always immediately get answers to all the questions, although we do get some clarification sometimes. (due to NDA, i can't elaborate more on that)
We do read forum threads, reddit threads, utube comments and so on, we groupe the info, filter it all down a bit to some of the most common things most players want to see happen and that info gets passed on directly to the devs.
Hopefully we'll see the results of that eventually show up in the game itself.
Greetings,
RMD.
RaceMasterDave, thanks for the input, but it is more than just a "feeling"; that our input goes nowhere, it is a fact. One that can be observed by the utter lack of anything of real value.
Issues never seem to be addressed except something vague, like performance improvements. In something. Somewhere.
I am a huge fan or TC1 and I bought the crazy expensive season pass version of TC2. I now wish that I hadn't. I really feel that I wasted money that I worked hard for.
It is disappointment that I feel and that makes me VERY negative.
I am certain that I am not the only one.
We hear, over and over, this has been passed on, and that has been passed on, and nothing happens.
How should we feel as people who spent REAL money and whose feedback disappears down a rabbit hole?
I still like the game, but it is BORING. They destroyed the ambiance and replaced it with, well, I am not sure what. Pretty nothings?
To say that issues and opinions are taken into consideration is ok but we have yet to see any of these make it into the game and some of these are really basic things.
To say that feedback is appreciated and fed back to the team doesnt really feel all that great when you’ve already spent the money on it. The game could have been great, but it is seriously lacking and in sure many others like me will feel like we have paid for a beta.
You cant honestly think that its ethical or good business to release half arsed games. People will notice and by the look of it they already have.
Why not delay releases and have people play the game instead of releasing content for a game most will have no longer own...
Im all for marketing and the money men taking the blame but the devs certainly arent blameless.
The issue is; the crew one was such a fun game, that me and my friends all blindly boought the gold edition even just to support the crew 2.Originally Posted by SCOOBA_STEEB Go to original post
Due to the poor game they made now, I'll step aside and not touch another ubisoft game.
They stripped and removed everything that made the crew 1 good, then added alot of gimmicky garbage and called it a new game.
This thread is spot on. I really supported Ivory Tower and their Idea to have this massive Open World like no racing game ever. TC1 was very fun and a lot to see even though the driving physics were pretty bad but I still got a lot of hours into the Game. So I spent extra bucks for the Gold Edition by believing the process, then this huge punch in the face. I don't know why they waste such a huge chance of beeing one of the best open world racing games. They could done so much more.. There are some people who developed Test Drive Unlimited, why not implement the best things from there and mix it up with The Crew?
Instead we get the same Map, which is not bad at all, but they removed a lot of stuff!
The Season Pass is the biggest joke ever happen to me as a Gamer... We get literally NOTHING exclusive and on top of that we get recycled content which was in the Game since the crew 1 and is also in TC2. IT and Ubisoft lost all my Trust in pre ordering a game and also buying a Season Pass.
I don't like Forza Horizon because there is not much to see and it repeats itself pretty fast. That's why it is so sad to see The Crew go down like this with so much potential to be the best Racing game.
Hopefully this teaches people to stop pre-ordering! And quit buying season passes!
When you blindly buy these games what incentive does the dev have to fix anything? They already have your money. I don't own tc2, I played the betas and felt the game seemed wrong and passed on it, but I haunt the forums and reddit cause I genuinely loved tc1 and hope that tc2 can salvage some part of itself so I can buy a copy someday.
If players didn't blow cash beforehand on this trainwreck of a racer they'd have more leverage against ivory tower, but as it is now, well......they got your money so all they really have to do is finish with what they promised.
I know they have their big Dec update on the horizon but unless it has a new GPS system and lighting system fixes its a wash in my book. Are we wasting time posting here? Probably. But hopefully those of you that got burned learned a lesson.
