Spawn 3 regular helicopters and 1 Gatling gun helicopter and use it to destroy the 3.

2. Without taking any damage. Deploy to Mojocoyo Alpha and complete the mission " Gabriela"

3. In extreme difficulty and without being visually detected. Deploy to Libertad Alpha, then complete the mission "The Refinery Chief"

Done with part 1 and 2 but are now stuck on part 3.
When at second oil derrick you get detected by stuff you can't control. All of a sudden the Santa Blanca comes storming in and starts shooting and you get detected. Sometimes something explodes and you get detected. All I've done is scouting with the drone so it's not done by me.
I have tried this mission for at least 15 times now and there is always one of the things above happening each and every time. So if anyone has a suggestion to complete this challenge I'm all ears.

Yup happened to me on xb1

Once again we have an issue with one of the challenges and this one is really STUPID.

Refinery Chief has two parts where you destroy machinery at two derricks. At the second derrick there's a random as hell explosion that occurs as soon as I get near the refinery that has caused detection of my squad the last four times I've attempted the mission. I've known about the random explosion for a while but this is the first time we've had this mission in a challenge.

Way to troll ubi...way to troll.👏


For anyone else encountering this, get just close enough to get credit for locating the derrick retreat to high ground and snipe.
275-300m seemed to do the trick.

Edit: I also did it by sync shooting all the enemies (10 I believe) from 250m out marking enemies using the binoculars then approaching the objective.

To everyone having some hassle with the 3rd challenge Go to libertad alpha to start head to the first refinery if you get spotted it don’t matter but most important kill everyone DONT LEAVE KILL EVERYONE Now fly back to libertad alpha in your chopper hover over it the challenge will kick in again now go fly back to the first refinery again there will be no enemies shoot the rigs now fly to the second refinery get spotted again or fail it doesn’t matter again KILL EVERYONE before you leave fly back again to libertad alpha hover again to get the challenge to start fly back to second refinery NO ENEMIES Yes cool do your thing shoot the rigs fly back to refinery chief and you are go to go hope this helps

Yup happened to me on xb1

I’m on Xbox & just completed it with no problems.
Sync shotted everyone at the first derrick & same again for the second part & just strolled in & placed my C4. Granted the second derrick has a drone jammer but I was able to sync all enemy with it on apart from 3 I missed. Team AI alerted me to a enemy presence & I’m like WTF? Where? Naturally the enemy positions weren’t revelled & I’m thinking, just the one. Lucky for me I had turned off the jammer so popped the drone basically in the centre of all the derricks to revel the 3 I’d missed.

Happened to me too on PS4. How is Santa Blanca and Unidad fighting being ‘Visually Detected’. Sniping one or the other and setting them fighting should be a way to avoid being seen!

My workaround for this. Destroy the rigs however you want. Doesn't really matter, even go in guns blazing. Once they are done and you are clear to fast travel, fast travel to Libertad Alpha, you will get the progress thing again. Go talk to the refinery chief to finish the mission, and the challenge will also finish.

Correct Bone Frog, or just get someone who has completed the challenge to fly an armed chopper of some description to do the mission for you, just drop then at the refinery after them travelling to Libe****** Alpha.
