Remove the in game chat please. It serves no actual used or useful function.

And NO, I'm not talking about the UI removal feature that is in place. I mean REMOVE this feature from the game.
In the past 20 matches, there has either been NO chat from my team or the other. Or only horrible things said to each other, and bad attitudes. Of which I am complicit, and honestly don't like.
No one is playing this game because they are not competitive... they play it because they ARE competitive and want to hurt each other. FOR REAL. I've literally had matches end where teams would have fought each other IRL if this was in person.
And honestly, honorable competition and good sportsmanship ONLY EXIST IN FAIRYTALES when it comes to online games. There is no immediate oversight, sometimes no oversight, and so no one cares. They trash each other, they trash their own team mates, they say racist and crappy things to each other.... why is this allowed to take place to begin with... just remove the ability to talk.
Anyone playing in any kind of serious way with friends or team, is in a chat system like Discord.

You have no VOIP worth a damn, and the texting only allows momentary one-liners of hate to spill out and frustrate others or make people want to punch each other.

    GET
    RID
    OF
    IN GAME
    CHAT
Do that and you'll have far less accounts to review as well. Im sure.

No, because some of us are capable of using the chat like well adjusted human beings as apposed to the idiots you describe. Offensive chat and salty comments is what the mute function is there for. You mute them and you no longer see their chat messages appear, problem solved.

If you don't like the feature then you have the ability to turn it off, as you yourself noted. You and others you meet not being able to use it properly shouldn't hinder those of us who are able to use it in the intended manner.

Since Breach dropped two weeks ago, I was one of the earlier people to learn the banner timings, I had at least five teams ask me how I knew when the next banner was coming and shared that information, information some people possibly still wouldn't have if the ingame chat didn't exist. When people use it right it makes the game better, when not, well that is what mute is for.

Why instead don't you select group chat as your default one (trough the "options menu"), so that you never see the chat of anyone and don't have to worry about it? This way you can do as if player chat never existed, while all the other players can keep using it (if they want to).
I do use in-game chat, and I met only a few (3/4 of them) who were using it in that bad way you described.
Why removing a mechanic you can easily avoid without having to bother other players or the devs?

And skrz, if you dont like my posts, then dont read them, and sure as hell no need to write on them. I mean, if you feel the need to write a one line, no contribution post here... imagine you in game when you are frustrated! lol

    >spams garbage in my thread and in the uninstalling thread, telling people to shut up because he doesn't like what they say
    >writes this

Somebody lock this idiotic thread and give this guy an infraction.

Just close the chat, that's it (ignoring trolls is just as easy, though some are yet to develop this ability, otherwise there would be no trolls). 33% of my opponents are salty in my chat, I ignore them. I have a conversation with the other 67 with mutual respect, and that makes the game far more pleasent to me when I fight someone with manners and no temper problems. I find the majority of players well mannered and mature, the players having a different experience mostly have similar behaviour problems. I myself experience a change when I have a worse day and have lower tolerance.

The ingame chat should actually be improved, not cut back.

If it wasn't for in-game chat, I wouldn't be able to command teammates to group up when necessary. It's saved me two or three matches.
