Was just "warned: a second time for posting a Solo challenge video on the GRW discord channel by Sly. Yet he as a Mod posts videos of all the YT channels he "likes", Claiming I'm "desperate" to promoting my channel and not providing DIY videos on how to do the challenges.
Seem like nobody wants to see videos of anything unless it meets their approval first here or on discord. So no more videos on discord.
What is the problem with this community? We never used to be this toxic towards people just helping out.
If anyone thinks my videos are promoting my YT channel and not DIY videos on the challenges please let me know what I'm doing wrong.
And before you answer with "The discord channel is private, and not affiliated with Ubisoft". Maybe if we didn't see all the developers and Ubisoft employees as members it wouldn't seem you are running it.
Seems one person is running the website and calling the shots, Sly the moderator.
So I quit that too channel.
It's the same as Reddit. Ubi reps might be listed in a side bar but we literally have no power over the actual modding of either place. It's mainly just there so people can see that they're not posting into the void - there's some possibility that we'll see it. It also means we can respond and people won't accuse of us being impostors. We aren't mods and we're not looking to take on additional moderating duties outside of the Ubi forums.
I'm going to close this thread as no resolution can be reached here on the Ubi forums. Feel free to PM me with any concerns, but this is not the venue this needs to be discussed in.
