What is the purpose of all the high ranking people joining and leaving?

They are either looking for some fast event points/card packs. Or I've seen some that do card requests than leave. Oh, on rare occasion there will also be some lame guild recruiter that pops in, drops some cheap advertising than leaves.

It's almost always people running around teams trying to hit their daily donation limit for exp. In more competitive teams it's harder to get max donations since everyone is active, so some take this path.
