Lol. I had a random co-op player ragequit yesterday because of 1 failed attempt at a CN mission (Old Glory Holes).
But the reality is they are all pretty easy. Sure it takes a few attempts, but they are not difficult. You just need to be patient. The only one I struggle with is Quadzilla. Especially in Co-op. Mainly because of how slippy the driving controls are. But even that mission is pretty easy if you remember not to throttle downhill.
I actually love doing the wingsuit and plane missions. Especially "LotW", and "spray and pray". Although I can understand how they would be cancer to new players. lol.
Legend in heaven. Legend in hell!

My main gripe with the CN missions it that you can't re-play them. For example;
Tue: Played with random co-op player who loves the CN missions.
Wed: Played with someone who hated them.
Thur: Another player who loves them, but we can't play them because of Tue. :/
I don't get why nobody at Ubi thought about this more logically.
I just got back into (PC) gaming after being out of it for apx a decade. Having fun but I did find it necessary to purchase a game pad to properly control the airplanes in FC5. Yes, the CN challenge in particular. LOL! The game pad made a big difference.Originally Posted by d.rich99 Go to original post
Once Ubi put in mouse controls for planes as an option, then for me the CN missions became doable. I couldn't control planes with the keyboard because of the way they made the controls, but making the mouse control it was much better. As far as Wing-suit, it was a matter of just getting used to the controls, and then they were pretty easy. So while CN started off badly for me, I found them to be somewhat fun after the control changes and time in game. Having the ability to repeat them would have been nice, without having to restart the game all the time....at least in NG+ you can restart at any time and open up the board to doing them again if you want.
/\ But even then you have to take around 40 minutes to watch the intro and get off Dutch's Island. So what I've done is create backup saves of 1) immediately getting off dutchs's island, and 2) after each region is done and all that's left is the bunkers, Joseph, the CN missions and some of my other favorite missions.at least in NG+ you can restart at any time and open up the board to doing them again if you want.
So between the two backup saves I can do what ever I want at any time without having to re-do the beginning.
But nonetheless, being able to replay missions would be a much more logical and player-friendly way of going about this.
(Or at the very least they should have let us have multiple save slots...)
What brabro said.
For me the C'utch Nixon missions are doable but suck because of the keyboard nf mouse control. They might even be fun with a controller.
The issue is that some Far Cry 5 vehicles have terrible responsiveness to keyboard/mouse controls. Airplanes are uniquely bad in that respect.
Worse, it is not the nature of keyboard/mouse being bad, it is Far Cry 5's implementation. I had no problems and actually loved flying planes with keyboard in other games.... like GTA 5, which has missions very similar to FC5's. To add insult to injury, not all controllers work in this game, even mainstream controllers like some of the xbox ones.
I am leaving all of the Clutch Nixon challenges for the end, and I might try to connect my controller for it. I fully expect needing to contact support to get it to work.
