The new gear system, I don't get it fully, is there an online guide anywhere?

Okay, do I understand it correctly, that I need to have a rating of 600 to be able to unlock a perk?
So depending on the items and if I combine them well, I might actually be able to activate 2 or 3 perks.

What I find odd, a lot of my purple items have just the default perk for the hero and they actually have a lower value than not having any gear equipped.
So there is no difference in a hero with purple items that only offer the default perk and a hero that doesn't have any items equipped?

Another question.
I have seen Items with the following ratings on a perk:

• 120
• 120/200

What's the differnece there? Why would one say 120 and the other 120/200?

Numer on the left indicates the amount of points you're getting when you equip that particular piece of equipment. Number on the right however tells you to how many point you can reach by upgrading it. So let's say there is 120/200. You get an instant 120 points in a perk and can upgrade this equipment (one upgrade = +20 points) to max of 200 points. And this is the main difference. Purple items usually allow you to upgrade them to a higher value than an unequipped slot would.

or you can do what most veteran players do ignore the stats coz they will remove or change the system in a few months and just focus on cosmetics good players know that stats dont matter in this game is all about the skill

It's obvious if you've played the game that the new gear traits are basically useless. There is no point in spending anything to minmax your gear. There are a few cases where a trait might be "increases max health on kill for so many kills" or something similar with stamina but it's so minuscule you won't even notice it. One of the best ones is the one you start with which gives you a small shield whenever you spawn.

true dat, totally useless and pointless, they just pressed the reset button and flushed it all down the drain, all that work and all that steel out the ****ing window without a seconds thought or consideration, the message is simple, FU all, go buy MF and get the latest OP characters or spend all your time on your *** OOS and being cannon fodder for the Chinese faction.

i just played a game with a guy who was lVl 0 rep 0 and he had a perk and i dont and im rep 6? what a total ****ing joke this horse**** of a game has become?
