I have played multiple matches against my teammates and have figured out how to force your opponent to experience massive lag, rubber banding, teleporting cards and cards not being dealt damage and all sorts of other fun glitches. On iOS you simply need to swipe up to open the shortcut menu. Then drop it back down. Then open it again. The opponent will experience all of these fun glitches. Not sure if there is a solution to fix it or not.
Keep in mind the person inducing the lag probably won't see any glitches on their end. Reason I think this is because every now and then during a match I'll get a pop-up on my iPad (low battery warning, password verification, etc). The game pretty much freezes in place for a second or two while I clear the pop-up, but then pretty much resumes exactly where it left off. I'm assuming this causes most of the aforementioned issues for the opposing player, so yeah, I believe cheaters are forcefully making their game pause using similar means to cause lag issues.Originally Posted by Ubi-Toller Go to original post
Hi, I was seeing some strange things over the weekend and then tested this out in a friendly fight just now - you can create “lag” doing this and affect the outcome of a match, for better or worse. I was able to time it and prevent my NK from taking damage from an assassin 2 times in a row. That was on my first attempt at it. I’m sure they’re are players out there who have perfected it and know how to exploit this in their favor consistently.
I know sometimes a notification can pop up and you might leave the game innocently, but I’ve seen this enough lately to recognize that it’s a problem. For what it’s worth, I think having a leaderboard for the events only further incentivizes cheating and finding loopholes. I know you’re trying to add more rewards and engage us more but with that will come these unintended consequences.
P.s. I want to keep my tegridy and won’t resort to using this in a real match. I just want to help. Also
Am I real?
