Wasn't the falling through map death supposed to be resolved in the hotfix?

Is it really still there?

No **** it worked. tried downloading just the ghost mode save and didn't work but downloaded all the saves and i could log in to the save from the morning that was level 13. Still a pretty useable character. Nice Kean thanks for the heads up.

No worries. Glad you were able to recover from a decent save point.

Yeah, I tried to recover /save individual files but realized simply restoring or saving "all" was easier and worked every time.

The only thing now is that you just need to make sure you remember to upload after each session and/or at critical times where you want a restore point. Although it can still sting as you still stand to lose everything you gained from the time you play between saves, it's much more bearable IMO.

I never liked the permadeath option but it's the only way to experience the other features they included in this new mode. ....and in fact, saving games like this still brings an element of tension as you still don't want to lose your progress but at least you won't lose everything.

Apparently not after watching his video. In all honesty, and it might sound salty of me to say this, but I am not surprised at this point.
