Late game disconnects in Breach. Devs, this is unacceptable.Pls do sth about it

With 4 minutes left on the clock, we finally got the enemy on the low ticket count. We fought very hard as defenders to get to that point and then this. Disconnect. No warning even and most upsetting not even rewards for an entire game of play with being a top scorer on the leaderboard. I know that this was due to somebody starting a download on my network, so i had unfortunately no control over it.

I cannot stress this enough that late in the game it should be more generous to let players stay in the game and finish it OR at the very least you need to implement a system that compensates for that so that you get get some XP and steel back for the time you played.

This is very frustrating and more so in a long lasting mode such as breach especially. Please do something about it.

I don't think you can blame Ubi about this. And you also probably can't get any reward for quitting, even if it isn't your fault. I mean, there's surely some people out there who disconnect their pc form the wi-fi just to quit a match before loosing, and without getting the "quit penalty". My internet too is pretty bad and I sometimes get disconnected, but I don't think they'll ever do something like rewarding you for a match even if you quitted.

I got dc as well, but this one was on Ubi. I did not dl something or whatever, just a plain simple dc at the end of a Breach mode.

While I do agree that we'll never get rewards for quitting a match (since, among others, that would make losing side quit even more in breach), I did notice that those errors became more frequent since Marching Fire. Breach lasting as long as it does also isn't helping, since having a long game makes it more likely that an error will occur, and you lose time and loot. Don't want to be a "Fix ur servers, Ubi" guy, but there does seem to be an issue with them at the moment.

yes sure, I can fully see and agree that this is an issue as well that you need to keep in mind. That is why I would rather stay ingame with the connection threshold getting more resilient towards the end of the game. Other games are a usually much more forgiving than that and even if you get kicked you can still reenter a game. Those things are what is missing here and I would say this is crucial for a long-lasting and intense mode like that. We can't just leave it like that.

In my example it was even so that this "lag spike" did not last long. I was basically good to go right after I got kicked all the more frustrating and hence the reason I pledge for more resilience.

@specialkha: what error code did you get. Do you remember?

Nah sorry, I did not really bother with it since I am quite used to dc in FH.

I've started having the same disconnection issues so I can't finish a Breach game too. I hope this gets fixed soon.
