I'm sure you all play different games here. Remember Battlefield 4?

If you've been living under a rock or something, I'll bring you up to speed on the context of my idea.

So the devs of BF4 made a (heavily) requested branch of the game called BF4 CTE, or Community Test Environment. It was a beta build of their next implemented changes and big updates so us, the players, could play with, test and experience the next inventory items, maps and how it all interacted together. The data the devs collected from it was extensive, giving them the information to fine tune not only their upcoming stuff, but their existing mechanics too.

Why do I bring this up? Well, if you look on the game on Uplay, into Properties you'll see an option to unlock a test version of the game. This brings me joy to think that Ubi has something like I'm describing implemented but my cynicism makes me think otherwise.

I made a post in another branch of this TC2 forum asking about future beta-testing opportunities but like most threads that ask real questions, it got lost to the aether. So hopefully this is a more appropriate forum.

We need a CTE-esque function so the general public can test upcoming mechanics and help the team fine tune them before making them live.

Why? Well, for those still addicted and faithful to the game, we want to make sure it continues to be the experience we need it to be. For those who have put all their spare time into experiencing what you've made, it is unfair that we aren't able to give our feedback on the game and have the developer's undivided attention and understanding when we give it. Especially me, since I've given constructive feedback to not only this game but the last game too, all was met with deafening silence so I feel excruciatingly strong about this.
