    TOP 3 PVP (DZ) Builds

    Hey all,

If this is posted elsewhere, please forgive and direct me there. I searched but could not find.

I played through the campaign and basically dropped the game and haven't looked at it again until recently. I am looking to see what the top 3 PVP builds for the DZ are right now. I know there may not be a consensus on this but I am just looking for a place to get started. Thanks in advance.

I fear there is more consensus as you expect, because the number of sets viable in PVP is quite limited. Most players in DZ wear classified Nomad or Predator. There are also Alpha Bridge, D3 or Banshee and some Final Measure users as part of a coordinated team. In random teams or for solo DZ players, Nomad and Predator are currently the most popular builds. In Last Stand and Skirmish, you see also DeadEye snipers. There are also some players using hybrid builds with the Nnja Bike backpack, for example a mix of Predator and Banshee. The rest of the sets, is not very useful in PVP.

Thanks for that info. Have the drop rates and locations changed any? I'm seeing farming guides from about 1 to 2 years ago and was wondering if they were still accurate. Looking for Nomad for my friend.

I beleive drop rates are generally what you're used to. Though I will say there is an upcoming Blackout Global Event starting on Monday. The rewards are the D3, DeadEye, Striker, and Tactician sets (the first two of which were mentioned above). So though it may not be Nomad, Monday might be just what you're looking for.

    Also, welcome back!

    Thanks!

What about drop locations? Have they remained the same (other than new areas that have been added)?

Been having pretty good luck with 6 piece Banshee rolled to 9000 FA...has 50% CHC and 122% CHD...i haven't figured out Predator yet...I get melted by the build at times, but can't seem to get the build right...

Put nomad, pred or banshee on and join the dz police department like 75% of players these days.

You'll still see a fair amount of striker in the DZ, but I am 98% sure these are cheaters. They are still usually solo players, and they can manage to keep their stacks fully up when no one else on the server can. And, it's just like 1.8.2... "100 stacks bro, that's why why i one-shot you with my showstopper"...

Yep most players but not all using a showstopper with 6 piece striker are old cronus users who still think they are good. The changes made to striker really hit cronus showstopper builds hard, most of those players have changed to nomad, which accounts for some nomad users doing insane damage, they are the old cronus showstopper users.
