How to cancel El Sueno mission

Guys, Im doing story mode. I came to point where I got El Sueno mission. Now I can go and face the guy, but still Im in the middle of the story. I dont want to go and fight him. Im now in situation when I meet Bowman she will inform me
    Spoiler:  Show
that Paca Katari is betrayer and all the rebels will hunt me
. I dont want to end this mission now. It is very annoying because music hangs only on this mission and every time Im reborn game respawn me at Pucara district where final mission starts. How can I cancel it? I know about right click on map but I am not able to cancel that mission.

This is what I would do... it may not work though.

When you respawn back in Pucara, if the yellow crown of the mission is clearly seeing, select it to change it to a yellow arrow and then deselect it and then fast travel somewhere else you want to be. again, it may not do a thing.

I know every time I star a game, respawn, etc I am reminded that the Archangel mission is on but at least the pop up goes away... I rather hit my left nut with a hammer than do that lazyass mission

To be honest, you should just complete the mission now.

The game has a “bad” ending for getting Sueno before you completely dismantle the Cartel, and a “good” one for getting Sueno after completely dismantling the Cartel. HOWEVER, you will get the “bad” ending the first time you beat the game no matter what; the “good” ending is then made obtainable the next time you beat that mission.

Even if you complete the game fully, the game will still act as if you haven’t if it’s the first time you complete Sueno’s mission.

I say just finish that mission and get the “bad” ending, then finish taking down the Cartel, then replay Sueno’s mission to get the “good” ending. Otherwise, you’ll probably end up replaying that mission twice back-to-back to see the difference between endings, and that mission can be a real pain in the arse depending on how to do it.
