Just an idea. Why don't the locker rewards get adjusted based on level of your opponent. You'll have to also compare the levels of the cards between opponents as well. Make a points system. If both NK's are equal level locker loot is 100%. Than add up card levels. All level of cards would have to be broken down by rarity. Points can totaled up. That way if you're up against a lower level NK, but have similar level cards you'll get slightly lesser loot. As NK level is only 1/5 of the total score. Compare that to a identical level NK, but different level cards.
What about if someone has higher level Common Cards, but lower level Rare and or Epics? With the formula it'll balance out. Than everything can be on a points base. So the reward will vary based on just how much difference there is between the card levels of the opponents. Each and every card would have to get entered into the formula separately. Wouldn't be too difficult to dump card level data to the server and make some calculations. Plus one can look at not just the basic card level, but the exact card level.
If the locker loot ends up getting adjusted accordingly it'll give more incentive for people to want to play against equal level people. Or at least give a little compensation to all the punishment that lower level people get from others of vastly higher level NK's with superior leveled cards.
Additional thoughts and or ideas?
It has gotten so bad I don’t even want to play anymore. Maybe for a little while to shake things up, you shouldn’t match people more than 2 levels above or below you. At least under 50 pvp rank. I think it’s ridiculous I get paired with mostly level 17s as a 13 (so much worse during events). Also maybe a time penalty for not throwing any cards out? I have stared backing out of games when I know someone is deranking so I don’t contribute to them getting there a ruining it for everyone else.
Im level 12 and rank 25. I'm playing against lv8-10s,so I would get very small rewards if this feature would be introduced into the game.Originally Posted by Meowman52402 Go to original post
Not necessarily. My suggestion takes card level into account as well as NK level. NK level would only account for less than 20% of your locker loot points. So if you're level 12 and play against level 8-10's but have similar or lower level cards the locker loot would be only slightly less valuable if cards are equal level. Or if your cards are lower levels than your opponents the locker loot could possibly be of greater value.
If you're NK is higher level and your cards are higher level than your opponents. Than yes you would get reduced rewards. That's kind of the idea. As a deranker typically plays with a superior deck at a rank/level that is lower than the majority of their opponents so they can easily dominate them.
Or just do what RL ignored when I posted it months ago. It doesnt increase the gap between higher ranking players but ensures they compete for eos rewards.

Card stats and nk pevel would be problematic because it completely excludes skill as a factor. Some really excited player goes out and drops 500 bucks on the game. Gets a single deck to the highest levels they can with it. Then starts a game. They get matched with someone who has the same level deck but earned it by playing from beta with little money spent and knows how to play it inside and out. You have now set the newer player up to get steamrolled.Originally Posted by ScottOld Go to original post
This is an extreme example but illustrates the need to include skill as a factor. I have guildmates who regularly beat people with cards much higher level than themselves.
If you mean learn to play, then that's a childish retort which obviously shows you want it to only work for you and care about noone else. I 100% agree with OP that deranking is a problem and needs to be addressed. Not the way you have stated. I'd also be interested to see how well you play if your system were implemented
