    DS4 rumble not working

I bought new ds4 controller and rumble isn't working even when I have all settings on. Also I can't use PS4 controller support in Steam, it shows Steam controller buttons ingame. Any ideas how to fix this except ds4windows since it changes all buttons to xbox ones?

    Hi Wicalethien,

Unfortunately if it can't be recognized as the DS4 controller, then it's likely that all the features aren't going to correctly work.

Does it show the PS4 buttons correctly In-Game, it just doesn't rumble? If you have the Steam support on, with the Steam Buttons will it rumble correct there?

    Thank you

What about an original PS4 controller? why is it 8 seasons since launch and rumble still does not work on those even though there is an option.

There's option in For Honor called control icon display in interface settings I have ps4 icons now and rumble! All I had to do before that was to use gamepad template from Steam Input Configurator.

That sounds fishy. First of all the PS4 controller is officially supported and should work right away from the get go. But since launch it does not rumble, even though there is the option within the options. It is a known issue too if I recall all those threads about it correctly. Note that I have for instance the uplay version of the game and don't have something like the steam input configurator. I also use the controller via cable and of course I have the right icons detected ingame. This does by no means affect the rumble effect.

But a huge thank you btw for outlaying and explaining what worked for you
