Lmfao because you said Lawbringer dealt 80 damage on a heavy, if I'm not mistaken. Which is feats, not gear stats. Gear stats never make enough of an impact to destroy a new player. Experience done.Originally Posted by CptMatsumaru Go to original post
And no, if you can't accept my own opinion why should I accept yours? This goes 2 ways dude.

You reported on my post and tried to give me your opinion.
Bye.
All perk change was horrible to the point that I am leaving the game. I know, no one cares.
However, I am still going to explain all the issues.
1. It is most important issue, the issue of trust and respect. Although what you did might be even illegal in some countries, let's pretend that it is legal in every country in the world. But is it moral or ethical? Ubisoft name stands behind your product and your service and support. If you do not respect your customers and if you take advantage of your customers, it can pernamently damage your reputation and your business. Keep in mind that players spent hundreds of hours playing your game and they spent who knows how many milions in steel or in real currency in order to obtain the steel. Lot of us a grow uos with their families tontake care of and bills to pay. So for je, biggest issue is complete lack of respect towards your customers as well as shady business tactics. You sold out your most dedicated player base for a few dollars more?
2. Second issue is perk implementation itself. It is lacking in 3 departments :
1.Functionality - perks serves little to no function depending on a hero. They are not balanced across the board and some heroes have double stamina bonuses, others not even one.
2. Logic - is lacking as well . Stats made sense, you upgrade weapon , attack increases. You upgrade armor, defense or stamina increases. It made sense. Perks are quite opposite and there is no sense behind them, just a bunch of random stats.
3. Visual aspect - old gear system was easy to see and to understand. Very well presented and one of good points in your game. New system is a mess. From too many information on the screen to trying to break code for having 3 perks active. It is way to complicated and unnecessary.
So instead of finding solution for a problem that didn't exist why didn't you consider following solution:
1. Keep gear stats with some adjustments such as decreasing attack little bit and revenge or replacing revenge with useful 4v4 stats inspired by some of your perks.
2.Breach would be introduced with no gear stats but at the beginning of the match, we pick our hero and 3 perks or roll the dice for 3 perks. Perks are paid for by gear since it is useless so far.
3. Realistic Dominion would get higher rewards as incentive to play it.
This way, old Dominion players would keep their heroes the way they like them and they wouldn't have to readjust play style or wouldn't be cheated out their time and money.
More hard core players would have their own Dominion with no gear and better rewards.
And Breach would stay in the middle, no gear but available perks to pick before game starts. Keep in mind, perks would need rework and some heroes would need to get buffs in terms of stamina and exhaustion stats.
Also, you inform everyone that game will be balanced based on non gear modes, going forward.
Everyone would get what they want and you could keep casual and hard core player base.
With your current approach, you disrespected and cheated on your customers, you took away fun customization part of the game and you hurt many heroes , specifically those with heavy stamina consumption. Basically you went against everything you were trying to fix and you slowed down a game by a good amount. On the other hand, revenge still fills out during 1v1, I guess only thing we actually wanted to be fixed.
I think what people are missing most are the stamina perks, I could deal with losing everything else, but losing those stamina stats hurt my characters more than anything else.
The dev team should make a universal perk for stamina cost reduction, unless they intend on using stamina as a new way of fine tuning hero balances.
Feel free to post on reddit in the official thread for feedback regarding perks, if you're a user there: https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/co...erks_feedback/
I've already addressed the lack of compensation/upgraded gear having been made worthless issue in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/co...dback/e830xgt/
I, like the majority of others here, find that the perk system is worthless, and the way it was pushed on us bullish. We didnt' ask for this, we didnt' need this. If you had talked with the community more, especially after the beta, you would have easily seen the great dislike for this perk system. The only people that seem to be in favor of it are people who are greatly uninformed about how stats worked and the value of working hard to get the right gear.
This new system has no point to play anymore. The entire game is stripped of anything more than a frustrating 30 minutes of being constantly winded after a few attacks. To be honest, the first character I really started to like was the first character I had leveled up stamina regen on. It's when I first felt I had a viable character. Many other heroes followed that template and I ended up having many characters that I enjoyed for their tactics because stamina was working for them, so I didn't have to worry about it.
Your new system has made the game dull and pointless. I try to play, but I see no future for any of the heroes now. Just meaningless blobs that will all sit around doing the same attack, the same defense, the same stamina regen, only a different skin. It's boring, and.......
NO LONGER WORTH MY MONEY. Pay attention to that, Ubi. For as long as this decision of yours persists, and until I get 100% bored of the game (which will be soon), you no longer have access to my wallet. With the current game state, you're not a worthy investment in fun anymore. Perhaps other games are.
They just stealth nerfed gear again too. You could get 3 perks that were all "uncommon / rare" by having all items with 150/150 stats, but now the gear caps at 145/145. Literally just spent like 15k Steel upgrading characters to get some minor benefit and now I literally don't have any active perks. WTF Ubi??? Not to mention the fact that we got gypped of all our steel we spent upgrading gear when it did have stats as opposed to perks. I'm sure 5 loot boxes are definitely worth 20k Steel.
I still don't understand the perk system. How do you get therest of the perks. I have been stuck with only the main perks. How do you getthe offense, defense and assist perks? How do you get 600 points.
I was told you can combine perks, how do you do this? Is itsaying that I can combine to helmets to make a super helmet?
Can dev team put a article on exactly how to utilize theperk system in the For Honor Forums.
So I tried to combine 3 armors of the same type to increase my perk or get more perks, but it doesn't increase the perk at all or do you get more perks or points.
I tried using the same type of armor for the helmet, chest, and arms. I used the Venator type armor for all 3 armor pieces and when combined don't add up to 600 points. For example, if each venator armor piece like the helmet, chest, arms each only had 200 points for the galestorm perk these 3 armor pieces when equipped on my character doesn't combine or add up to equal 600 points. So each individual armor piece has to have 600 points or higher to obtain the perk such as the galestorm. So who ever said you can combine armors of the same type to increase your perk points is wrong. Nor can you combine 2 helmets to make a super helmet, etc, etc.
As of now I still don't understand how to unlock the offensive, defensive and assist perks. If the dev team can explain in a video that is accessible in the For Honor forums that would be great.
