I'm not a fan. I don't mind limiting players perks/stats to even out gear across the board; however, it seems less rewarding to try to achieve the 600 score rather than leveling up your individual pieces with instant gratification. Why would I level any gear until I have a complete set I know will reach what I want? I've also seen players say it takes away from individuality, which is fair to say. I think if we're only to achieve a fixed perk, there could be an easier system.

the most incredible and that they said that most of the community liked the advantages if they lost a little time to read the forums would see that this is not true.

and the worst and that this system of advantages ended up showing a fragile game about balance, the old system hid the whole imbalance of the game behind our armor constructions I was always looking forward to the balance that I thought was the best for my style of play.
in the end the system of equipment statistics was good for ubisoft now they will be forced to balance the game otherwise.
wulin can not stay overpower for 2 seasons as they planned to sell dlcs.

the community is in my point of view very united and strong around the same goal and it is no use crying and crying the daily numbers of the game and that will force the changes.

I am no longer playing diariamante after marching fire something that before happened and I know that there are many like me, that no longer looks at the game as the main one of its library.

I hope better days for a great game that I loved but I do not want to wait 3 months to have a bug fixed.

Perks are so loved that i still see people with 180full refined gear... Zero perks. To them i salute your stand point. You worked hard to get your gear just as you liked it... It shows the complete disapproval of perks and just how bad the transition was... Fully upgraded gear and not a perk available in his gear the way they transfered it.

Just logged in rapidly to say that I was happy to test the new stuff of Marching Fire and was ready to buy it, but your new gear system is so bad it definitely made me stop the game.
It's badly designed, totally unintuitive (I can't even uinderstand how anybody would have thought a system with badly design non-sensic icons would be better, do you test things, and do you read feedback at least ?), it has ruined every gear setup players made and worked for (or even spent for), and nobody ever asked for it.

The number of users is very rapidly going back to where it was before the expansion release, and will soon be even lower, meaning the expansion didn't manage to do what it was supposed to, that people came back, but didn't stay, and it made more people leave than come and stay.
At least we now know that there won't be a second expansion, and that the game is now slowly heading to it's death, unless the Chinese Market save it ... but it won't.

    Perks are trash

Hi, I've been a player of For Honor since the launch of the beta, and like many other veteran players, i find the perks to be useless in almost every situation. I preodered Marching Fire to support For Honor, so that ubisoft would continue to make it better. So imagine my dismay, when I found out that For Honor/Ubisoft took out the main balancing aspect of the game; gear stats. I, along with the majority of the community,DID NOT ASK for perks. All we wanted was the revenge stat taken out, not the entire gear system. I spent a long time building my Kensei to my play style, which was focused on absorbing block damage and piercing their defense. Now i hardly use my Kensei, because the blocks arent the same and the attacks do little to no damage when they're blocked. I used to be able to take on a conqueror 1V1 without problem now i find myself starting to struggle against them. Sure with fresh focus i can regenerate stamina when i parry, but what use is that when i already have full stamina. The other perk grants a scant amount of shield which is pretty much useless in a 1V4. Which is the direction the game is unfortunately taking. Id hate to have to uninstall simply because of this minor problem, among more pressing matters, like hardcore spammers and all around toxic players that spam emotes and purposely steal kills. Dont get me wrong, there are some situations (Very few) where perks come in handy. But 600 points per perk is insane, perhaps if it were lowered to 200 and gear stats were brought back (except the revenge stat) then For Honor wouldnt be facing such backlash from the community. I stuck with For Honor even when they lost 95% of the player base. Id hate to have to abandon them for something so trivial. PLEASE ACTUALLY HEAR US ON THIS

I am not a fan of the new perk system at all. They are meaningless compared to the old perks. The only thing wrong with the old perk system were revenge builds but that’s it. The new perk system gives me no reason to grind for gear because the perks are worthless. Please bring back the old system and work from there.

Right now there is nothing to play for.

Having something that is not 100% newby friendly is a million times better then having nothing play for.

Best would have been to combine stats and perks. Replace revenge stats with something else and keep perks for refinement.

yup and sadly the devs have completely glossed over the fact so many of us didn't like the change to a perk system or our very valid points against it. Think they thought we would just calm down and carry on if they simply waited. Also think they aren't talking about it because they don't wanna draw attention to the drop in numbers that has occurred(no matter how small) and the arguments against switching to a perk system.
They simply made a corporate decision and said no matter what happens, we aren't changing back. Actually if the games more developed players left because of this change that definitely hurt high level players, it would effectively eliminate the high end of skill level and allow newer players to have a easier time playing and getting into the game. Effectively sacrificing the ones that invested time and money(the ones that ubi got what they wanted from) to allow a easier playing field for those that are brand new. Is it a sound decision and outcome(intended or not), business wise yes, but ethically in my opinion no.

I have literally not seen one comment in favor of the replacement of gear stats, let alone lauding or even being okay with the perk system.
For some reason it is universally hated and Ubisoft along with the development team just seem to keep ignoring the feedback and doubling down on their decision while basically strong arming us on any updates to rebalancing the game.
But hey, do you dev team.
Take as long as you like, you remember what happened when the game came out and the player base dropped.

Literally the only thing keeping people on right now are either one of three things. The time invested in their characters, the money invested in downloadable content, their friends they play with.

When the remaining player base’s frustration surmounts their investment in the game they will leave. The problem is when they leave they may become invested in a new game and they may not come back.

The dev team needs to get on the ball before the game is no longer profitable to provide as a service.

The potential is there, but we aren’t sure if we stick around it will be reached because we aren’t being listened to and you seem to spend the majority of time and energy on making the game prettier than making it a more fun experience.
