Yeah, people did actually use those stats believe it or not, again, stop lying. No one is trolling, people have only called out your gross misinformation. Perks don't fit. You talk about balance without even having fundamental knowledge about the core mechanics of this game. I've called you out on it and a handful of other people have as well.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post

Some people may be upset losing gear stats, but I honestly think most are upset at the way we transitioned to the new system, whether liking the perk system or not. The transition sucked for people who had spent a lot of time, steel, and salvage upgrading gear for many heroes (and much of that gear is now salvage).Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post
But whatever the case, if perks are staying, please INCREASE the number of gear pieces you can hold...or allow each save slot a separate 60 pieces, but can trade between same hero builds.

For the first time in For Honor's entire history since release, the negative reviews outweigh the positive. It can be seen in Recent Reviews. Something to think about, Ubi.
I've been playing for honor for a few months now and got around to playing it regularly, even replacing my other gaming habits. I was getting the hang of the mechanics and loved the way you could progress with each character. But this marching fire expansion, oh man. What a mistake you guys are making. I mean, let alone the new mode is trash (because it just makes a **** show of dishonorable opponents smashing aimlessly at one another around the catapult or an archer point), the new progression system for heroes is disgusting to say the least. The perks are pretty aimless for most characters and dont target any valuable aspect of the gameplay except the 'between fights' or 'beginning of fights' phases which ARE NOT the core gameplay of the game. Unfortunately this new expansion just leads me to believe you are missing the point on your game. Uh oh, a game creator that cant target its proper game mechanics or less viable content, bad news boss. I want out. I bought the expansion to my biggest deception. I believe this new season to be a HUGE and serious misunderstanding of what the community actually wants. And that is, from my stand point at least, reasonable progression on a character that either develops viable in game powers (i wont call them perks cuz those are useless) or padding the stats, we want a team gameplay that forces players to spread out so that they can duel on their own and regroup on objectives to repick out duels and for god's sake please, please create a way that we can report or categorize dishonorable players. If youre gonna make a game with a lock on cam, why do you tolerate gameplay out of this 'vision'. I understand the mechanics of picking one opponent to target to get the others' from only one side, but even there it seems a little far fetched. When you sword fight in real life you dont just ignore the third person in the 1on2 and look only in one direction... So yea, either you adjust the gameplay for multiple encounters or you isolate problematic players and focus on making your game orientation 1v1 based. That being said, if this game doesnt change much in the next patches, I will simply leave it alone. You guys developed a great game system with the triangle and all but I have the feeling youre ridding on your money waaayyyyyy to hard for my consensus on this new change. I believe you should look back a little harder and try to find what was really good about your game last season and rebuild from that cuz this new game you put out a few days ago is not for honor. its for money or profit or something along those lines.
All other criticisms of this perk system aside, you don't give us enough in game information on possible perk combinations. I mean hell, why do I have to leave the game and go to your website to find the chart below when that should be in the game already in some capacity?

I initially hatred the perk system when I first loaded up the game. I was extremely disappointed because of that fact that I spent 12k+ steel to Max out my Orochi to refinement 2, and adjust the visuals.
I literally said out loud " That's some Bull $****!!!!"
I complete dropped my Orochi, and switched to my Conqueror. I used the 5 crates to get an influx of test gear to try the new perk system.
I pulled out a build of some of the perks that caught my eye, and was able to unlock 2 (bastion, and unforgiving shield). Coincidentally, I got gear with enough points to unlock those perks. It was like they corralled me into a build because that was all I receuved. I was hoping for some diversity. To be able to see some different perks, but it seems like each character has a set pool of predetermined perks that you will receive.
It wasn't a bad experience overall.. I'm used to playing duel, and brawl, so the lack of stamina cost reduction gear wasnt the worst thing that changed.
Trying to be rational, i just assumed that they leveled the stats across the board, and left the customization to perks which affect every character differently.
There are perks that are extremely situational (Bastion), and some that seem pointless (remedy). I found that remedy wasn't worth the effort, especially when you have a feat that heals you when you kill soldiers. **DONT NERF THAT!!!***
The shield perks seem to be in high demand, as it's a quick, easy way to get more health baked in on the start.
I could see myself using an array of offensive perks on an assassin, or hybrid. I'm looking forward to trying some stuff out once I get my Conq where I want him.
Ok. I will say this. I actually have 3 builds going on my Conq right now. up from 1, and maybe a half of build, from the previous system. The new system kinda breathes life back into the game, and gets rid of the mainly def pen builds. I hated that stat. It was kinda the only way to play back then because if you didn't have it you were limiting yourself in one way, or another.
I see what everyone else is saying, but I'm open to change. I'm not gonna uninstall the game just because they move in a different direction. Things change, and so do people. I think it's going to be an interesting change, and I am looking forward to seeing how everyone else adjusts to the new world order.
Good luck guys.
