"Legendary", "epic", and "rare" are just rarity levels for receiving an item from a crate. Nothing ever has any special attributes. That would be "pay to win" which I'm told is bad. XD

Yeah it is just cosmetics. People wanted a Galil, they got a Galil. It is essentially a re-skinned R4 with a faster reload speed, which actually makes sense if you are familiar with a Galil. Ultimately though assault rifles are a matter of personal choice. There is little actual difference between them.

I do wish they'd done the ACE 52 instead of 32 though. Battle rifles deserve more representation in this game.

The 32 makes more sense in Bolivia. It uses AK magazines and 7.62X39 ammo which would be readily accessible. Whereas the 7.62x51 NATO might be harder to come by and its mags(25rd instead of 30) are rather rifle specific, and again might be harder to find. 7.62x39 in AK mags... Well you can shwack any gomer and pick them up off his corpse in most countries in the world.

Well, SB snipers all use M40s, so there is surely plenty of 7.62x51 in SB armouries.

But, yeah, one reason Shobhit doesn't want to use a SCAR for his super duper immersive playthrough is also because it has proprietary mags.

I tend to headcanon it that the Ghosts have plenty of logistical support, and obviously Holt does fine with his SCAR, so I just go back to the safehouse and ask Bowman for more mags.

As for 7.62x39 I actually feel bad about using weapons that fire that cartridge because it means I'd be taking ammo rebels could be using. They are pretty poorly equipped and funded, and many have to resort to old AKs.

Meanwhile SB and Unidad are using 5.56x45 and 7.62x51 or .338 Lapua. There's something delicious about the thought of feeding off the enemy and killing them with their own bullets. XD

Yeah, from the moment Bowman says it is a joint CIA, DEA, JSOC taskforce I'm pretty sure that there is a scary level of logistical support including a bunch of good idea fairies that never quite make it into the game. However, I see equally good reason for using the 7.62x39... Just saying.
