Yes, they do have a progressive culture and they emphasise diversity and inclusion along with artistic freedom. This interview with Emma Delage, who put the community workshops together might be interesting to you.http://www.ghostrecon.net/all-news/e...age-interview/ .Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
Emma also arranged a half-hour meet and greet with Yves Guillemot, which was scheduled over breakfast to squeeze it in before his other meetings. He got so into the discussions with us that the meeting lasted an hour and a half as his assistants were frantically rearranging his day, LoL. We stressed the point that gamers had to know what they were getting and had to see real graphics and experience the game before release. Those things happened although I think there is more that could have been done, but I judge the company by their intent and how they have changed over time, not just where they are today. The CEO was really clear that he believed the company had to connect better with the gamers and there is evidence of progress in this over the last 3 years although a lot more to do.
Call me a pessimist then because all of this talks ( looking at the gallery only and for the masses benefit ) while they keep doing what they are doing ( read: throwing a 15GB patch to fix a 15GB patch and then another 15GB hotfix to fix the initial 15GB patch that ruin and almost broke the whole game. And this is just 1 example) just gives me a hellacious gas and for them to get a hard on about community relations just insults my intelligence.
Not every good deed is to cover the bad one.
Meh.
