I got out of Athens on the Adrestia and was on my way to Seriphos then got sidetracked with exploring and side missions. Over 24 hours of gameplay later I finally got back on track but now can't go any further with "Escape from Athens". It still shows in my quest list but has no current objective and no map markers.
In AC Origins if there was a problem like this you could cancel the quest and restart it, why doesn't Odyssey have this feature?
I've waited almost 2 months for something from Ubisoft just so I can actually play this damn game, whether it's an update to fix the problem or even a response from Ubisoft but not a single thing. If I send a bug report they tell me to come to the forums, and I come to the forums and get completely ignored. I spent $120 on this POS that I can't play because an early main storyline quest isn't working. I may only be one person out of hundreds and I'm sure Ubisoft doesn't care about losing a single customer but I won't ever be buying another game from this BS company.
Hey,
Firstly I just want to apologise that no one was able to get back to you about this issue, and I'm sorry to see that it's happening. It certainly does sound strange, and I can't recall seeing another instance of this issue.
I assume this was the point where you have Phidias on the boat with you going to Seriphos?
Is he still on the ship with you and have you tried going to Seriphos even though it's not marked on the map? It might initiate the cut scene once you've docked the ship. If hes not on the ship, perhaps try going back to where you met him at the Port of Piraeus to see if anything happens there?
Thank you, I'm very appreciative to finally hear back from somebody, anybody. Yes it was during the trip from Athens to Seriphos with Phidias. He is still on my boat and just sits there never moving and not responding to me in any way. I've tried sailing into Seriphos, and fast travelling in then calling the Adrestia to me and nothing happens either way. Before I noticed this issue I had gone off track and spent quite a few hours doing other stuff so starting over just isn't an option. As I said in my original post AC Origins had the option to cancel quests and restart them and that fixed any issue like this every time for me, why doesn't Odyssey have this option?
I'm having to post them as individual links since it would only allow me to post one if I tried to insert them as images or video.
If I did it right you should see Phidias sitting on my boat as I'm docking at Seriphos while the "escape from athens" quest is active. As you can see there is no quest objective and no cut scene when I get there.

Thanks a lot for your additional information. We haven't seen any further reports on this so I'd like to document this with the developers.
Can you please share your game save file either through your previous support case or a new one? Let me know once you have done so and I can pass it along.
Hi!
A friend of mine is having a very similar issue to the one dman2774 was having, except Phidias is nowhere to be found. We tried, reloading previous saves but they were all after she had done some other quests before getting to Sephiros. We also try fast travels, dying, exiting the game and coming back, Phidias just won't spawn in the boat as he is supposed to, and there is no quest marker on Sephiros... Because of it, the cutscene won't start and it's impossible to progress further into the story.
I've uploaded the savedata folder from the PS4 with all the saves from her game. It will only stay uploaded 24h however, I will re-upload it should I need to when you answer me.
Thanks,
Zakabuzz
