The squeeky wheel gets the grease my friends. There has to be a complaints department or something of the like we can voice our concerns to before ppl start getting ad mortem inimicus'd
I have no intention of filing a complaint with any department. Before the perk system, I liked the game so I played every day and spent some money on it. Now I hate it...so I just won't play it. It's their game, so they make it how they want and I guess it's time for me to find a different game because they ruined it for me. If others like it, good for them.

    Juvenile

Juvenile, idk. It feels like I paid for something very specific it feels like I invested my time and something and I knew what that something was now it feels like all the gear that I paid for is no longer the gear that I have I know it might seem minor to you but if you were eating Flamin Hot Cheetos and I took your Cheetos and gave you Chester's hot fries. Now this analogy might be juvenile but I don't care what it takes I love playing that game and now I hate it so if there needs to be a lawsuit if we need to uninstall if I have to get on message boards in convince the people that what they did is wrong I'm going to be a part of that I was excited for this update cuz I have saved up enough Steel to pay for the new characters without paying with money now it doesn't matter that I have 65,000 Steel because there's nothing in that game I want to pay for and I've basically got 50 60 bucks just sitting in a game that I no longer enjoy

Alright I'm going to be totally honest here, and if you start attacking me I'll sic Lupicus on you.

The perk system is not what everyone hoped it would be in the end. Replacing the original gear stats system with this was a move that could have been excellent, as it addressed certain issues around max damage builds and revenge builds (as well as certain max stamina builds) that were plaguing the game and ultimately making it frustrating for a large number of people.

Do I think the perk system is bad? No. I think the perk system has a ton of potential to be amazing, it just isn't quite there yet.

Do I think that people should boycott the game? Absolutely not. Not only does thinking you're suddenly a lawyer make you sound childish, but uninformed about the reality of the situation. Even if there WAS a way for Ubisoft and the team to be at risk from this, they would have covered that possibility in a disclosure somewhere and you'd be SOL. Making your point heard is important, but doing it in this way is not going to get you the type of attention you want from the team.

My suggestion for the perk system is this. Allow all characters access to ALL possible perks. This way, if an LB wants to maximize his damage output or make himself super speedy at the cost of not having much defense, he totally can. If an assassin wants to have as many defense buffs as possible, he can. There should be no limit on player choice when it comes to perks, as they are now the only method of actually customizing your character's performance aside from feats, if you can really consider those much customization.

This alone would make a huge difference as it opens up some of the possibilities that are currently locked away because the gear stats are gone, but since none of the perks increase revenge generation that particular issue is resolved regardless.

Next, to compensate for the apparent "stolen gear" everyone had (which I personally could not care less about, as I would get the perks I want by just playing the game), just give people 20,000 steel. It's not a ton, but it is more than enough to fully gear out 3-4 characters with a full set of equipment or at the very least get them very close to being fully done. If people are satisfied without needing this compensation, they now have some extra steel to either buy one of the new heroes if they didn't purchase Marching Fire, or get a few executions or effects of outfits. Everyone wins.

People need to chill out a little with all the threats. You wanna know why none of the fight team leaders show their faces on the dev streams? They would get SO many death threats that it would be ridiculous. People are unhappy with the team for a variety of reasons, and want change. Threatening people with even small things is idiotic and a waste of everyone's time.

If you worked hard on something, even if it wasn't perfect and you're slowly getting to the point where it is much better, would you even WANT to keep working on it if every time you look up from your desk there's another letter from a customer saying your product is **** and you should be fired? NO. Be respectful people. Everyone on the team is a human being and deserves respect, moreso because they poured their efforts to make something amazing, even if it still needs a lot of polishing.

Uninstalling and discussing your position are the only two things you can do.
I only added it because another user with a similar stance on this asked me to, and I honestly think it will get attention if anything. That's been my whole point since the start of this, just to be heard. I was a bit crushed when they didn't even mention perks in the warrior's den, they could have at least acknowledged the discontent in the community right now. I'm not threatening legal action, I've only uninstalled and kept to the forums.

But I'm willing to try anything to be heard lmao

EDIT: Trying anything in regards to putting a quote on the OP at the request of another. If anything, it will catch eyes

That's the unfortunate reality, so make sure that your concerns are also heard in the Feedback thread sticky.

I'm installing the new patch as we speak, and hearing how they butchered gear stats makes me feel like i wasted my 1000 hours playing this game acquiring at least rep 9 on most of my heroes to try and get gear stats that i liked. Now to hear that all my gear on all my heroes is now completely useless makes me not even want to play. Gear stats were special and added individuality to each persons hero. It gave you something to work for instead of just mindlessly playing match after match, winning this one, losing that one, winning the next and the next, then losing the next few. I always looked forward to the match rewards and hoping that maybe some of the gear would give me stats that i liked and would keep for later. Now i have to start all over. Don't create a gear system and then start making progress making it better then just throw it out. I liked gear stats and i want them back. It makes me sad that my 180 GS Lawbringer is probably a big heaping pile of **** now.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that Lawbringer is currently dead and buried. If you do think of uninstalling, would you be willing to upvote the OP in this thread and voice your concerns in the Feedback thread sticky? It would be greatly appreciated, and it might save the game as well.

I recently returned to the game just before the update. Was all excited for new content in hopes that I might have a slightly better chance of playing (I royally suck at this game but still think its awesome) so I paid for the expansion and then get bombarded with this crap system that actually made the game harder. I wish I had never paid for the expansion....I feel like at the moment I'm only playing because I dont want my money to go to waste...

Either way i scrapped my supposed good gear to fill in buffs.

If it returns to stats im litterly naked of stats 😂😂

In my opinion they should have made more feats instead
