Spent 30 dollars for day one access to this?

    Arcade mode is totally unacceptable.
In the trailers, it bragged "endless content" and a new experience every time. This is not that at all. Arcade mode is a hastily scrapped together, unfun mess. The boosts do nothing to enhance variety, in fact, they serve only to frustrate due to their inconsistency. Arcade mode is the same terrible 1v2s over and over, with progressively frustrating and vitriol inducing odds. I've been playing the same chapter for an hour now. Nuxia with health steal level 3 and Glad with shield level 3. My perk is that I push away enemies. Very useful. The point is that every single game I've played shuffles these ambiguous elements to fein that it's somehow different from all the other battles. It's the exact same thing over and over. This is not what was advertised, and it's most certainly not what I payed for.

Yeah. I agree. I liked it at first, but after playing a few dozen rounds, had the same feeling as you.

The entire "perk" system is just f---ing stupd. The new gear stuff is just f---ing stupid. The only thing I liked were the maskless "helms' for my Peacekeeper and Nobushi (although the paint on the Nobushi's face irritates me.)

It's time for me to set this game aside for a while. Maybe I'll return to it later and actually like this stuff. Right now I'm just...irritated.

    Arcade mode change

The arcade mode has been an enormous disappointment for me. It is essentially duel/brawl/1v3 matches with a text story connecting them. I had the highest Hope's that it would be a open world quest/task oriented mode with environmental interactions, castle seiges, camp raids, or anything related. Instead it's literally a small area where you kill a couple enemies and go to the next match. I am horribly disappointed with the limits and boxed in feel of this mode.

    Arcade mode feedback.

I'm not looking to go too much into it as I don't have much to say but there was no thread open for arcade so here it is.

In my opinion, overall the mode is pretty fun, it can definitely be frustrating too though but I guess that's part of the random buffs/nerfs thing.

One thing I would like changed is the flame around the heroes hand when he gets burn attack bonus, there is so much fire that I can't see the indicators, or his actual hands/weapons. I'm not sure if this is the intended purpose, but it makes it very difficult to see.

I was going to bring one other thing up, but it just has to do with a bad matchup, not really something wrong with the mode, more so light spam on console mixed with a level 3 bot and heal on attack. I had to smoke 2 lefties just to keep from throwing my remote, ended up throwing in the towel.

Anyways, if you have any arcade feedback, feel free to share.

I think it was created perfectly. Having rewards affected by time spent is wonderful and even just the base rewards are nice. Playing it co-op was a lot of fun and best of all if you run into a seemingly impossible fight you can quit and still get rewards!

I plan to play this and Breach exclusively from here on out, orders withstanding. I've been pretty negative towards this game lately, but between this and the perk system I have to give Ubi huge thanks. FH is probably my favorite game to play again!

Arcade is a blast, I went in with a member of my group yesterday, we went in knowing teal is supposed to be tough having seen one on the launch stream and it was...a challenge, but we stuck with it and completed it even if it took us a few times on some levels.

Some of the modifiers are oppressive, one level we had a pk and shaman with bleed along with a shugoki with permanent hyper armour, that took a while, fire attack shaolin, that was as much not knowing the shaolin really yet but no ui didn't help, one I had on my own, also with no ui, a centurion with drain stamina on attack AND drain stamina if he blocks me, that adds to the challenge though.

I intend to put a lot of arcade time in, my main fault 1v1 is I am too aggressive since I am mostly a 4v4 player (breach is also a very welcome thing) where I tend to get away with a fair bit more, the bots will punish you hard for that and they won't trash talk you while doing so.

Is that what it's based on? I was about to vent out how it's ridiculous that Legendary Quests sometimes give only 52 gold for full completion, but that explains it. I think I got 300 on my first time, when I kept dying to Runa and her two respawning Zerk friends before I finally won.

Eh, did one match with my Nobushi and chapter 5 I got stuck with the offensive perk (HP regen while attacking) against jiang jun that had revenge++ and HP regenerate.... I either parried or interrupted EVERYTHING he threw at me and by the time id bring him to half health, he would pop revenge and go back to full hp before I could get rid of his armour every time. It was literally impossible to kill him, I did the most possible dps I could do to him because hes very easy to run OOS and throw into the environmental hazards while doing my punish. Then I went up stairs for just barely a minute and get kicked for being AFK.

One of the other frustrating things that pretty much assured I wasnt going anywhere with Nobushi's slow azz, is that my attacks were dealing less than half the usual damage....... Top heavy on him while he was bleeding dealt 28 damage but he gets to hit me with a light attack for 30? wtf?

Safe to say I definitely wont even think about going back. Boss fights with RNG BS..... Not what I came to play this game for.
