So I noticed this little issue in the open beta but assumed everyone did and that it would be promptly fixed.
It was not.
The issue, which is so simple it's hard to explain, is that you can set each loadout of a hero to have a different gender, as well as gear, executions, and emotes. However, as soon as you join a session, ALL LOADOUTS switch to the last gender you selected. This means that going from loadout 1 to loadout 3, and selecting: "Male, Male, Female" makes ALL LOADOUTS female as soon as you join a game lobby. This is made extra frustrating by the fact that this error does not occur in the hero menu (you can set each loadout to have a different gender without incident), and it only ever bugs out when you join a game.

The title of this thread says "I hope" because I suppose it's possible ubi doesn't think it's necessary to have different gendered loadouts, but I hope this is not the case, because why remove a functionality that gave more options and customization? I hope this is received, because it doesn't seem like too much to ask to have loadouts given different genders, but if this is a permanent change, could somebody let me know?

Just to make myself clear, this is for the October 2018 Marching Fire Expansion only, and I have never observed this issue in previous iterations of the game; I first observed it in the Marching Fire Beta, then, today, when it was released, I've seen it again.

If I change a male to a female it changes every male Conq I have to a male and vice versa. This happens to all my characters and several friend on the X1.

Yep. I pick female Berserker, and now the other two are also female.

Glad to hear this is finally being fixed. It was really irritating in the Marching Fire OBT. Honestly, I can't believe it wasn't fixed between then and launch, but better late than never.

I still have the issue as well. I've already posted a bug report but just in case it was missed here's how to replicate the bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to customise a character that has two gender options. Change the gender for 2 of your loadouts to male (or female) and then set the 3rd loadout as the opposite gender.

2) Exit the character customisation menu and search for a match in any game mode - PvAI or PvP makes no difference.

3) When the match is found and you're in the character selection screen, flick through your 3 loadouts. All 3 loadouts will now be the same gender regardless of how you previously set the genders for each individual loadout.
