Latency, Lag & little upper left hand corner yellow clocks | Forums

is latency or lag an Internet issue or a PC issue? is latency and lag the same thing? in the last couple of days my PC is lagging out massively to the point that i cant play anymore , those little yellow clocks keep appearing in the upper left hand corner of the screen, my PC ran FH perfectly up to a couple of days ago? my specs exceed recommendations so im at a bit of a loss understanding whats happened? Ive ran bench mark and its says it ok? any suggestions on remedying this would be appreciated.

Never seen the yellow clocks you speak of. Lag is a symptom of high latency, but people also describe framedrops as lag, or a low framerate as lag, or controller input latency as lag so it's a broad term. How's your ping in game? Sounds like an internet issue to me.

no they are people with realy bad latency .. they lag like hell and if you hit this person with a heavy and it would end in an execution .. you hit him press the execution .. all the sudden the person blocks and his hp are back and you get hit .. this happend soooooooooooooooo often .. and its so annyoing ....

I think latency is the same as ping, more or less. Lag is what you see in-game when latency is bad. But you can really use the terms interchangeably.

Since things had been fine a few days ago, my general instinct would be to recommend you try some simple troubleshooting steps. The game is updating right now, so if the problem continues after the maintenance then get in touch with https://support.ubi.com .
