Hi everyone.. I literally just created this account and this is my very first post. I checked generally if there was a similar topic but I am so frustrated that I am simply unable to search further! So here's what's up:
I am fed up with the current PvP system that brings players with one or more legendary cards against players that don't have ANY of them! This is simply unfair. Can adjusting this really be that difficult software wise? Because in its current state it is simply unfair. If a player has a legendary card in his/her deck then they should ONLY be matched with other players with legendary cards. Who agrees with me on this?
EDIT = Obviously this can be altered for special occasions like events or challenges.
Thank you.Originally Posted by Ubi-Toller Go to original post![]()

Your point is invalid. If you have a legendary card you should be able to use it against people who also have them, not everyone!! Just because YOU waited so long for that card does not make your argument for you... An argument concerns EVERYONE or the MAJORITY...
I believe my point is very valid.Originally Posted by thewwp Go to original post
1. If I achieved getting my legendary card over a period of 1 year, or even 1 week, I should be able to use it. I should not be penalized for not using it out of sheer luck of getting one.
2. If I paid for my legendary card, I should be able to use it. I shouldn't be penalized for giving the developers money.
I can make the same argument saying it's not fair that you are using epic cards when I have none. Or I am using all common cards in my deck so I expect everyone else to use common cards as well.
It may be possible you just have a bad deck or very low level cards. There will come a point where you will stop winning no matter how much you play. And that is because everyone you are playing against just have better, high level cards than you and you just happen to beat everyone else because you have a better deck than them. So what that means is you have to grind out your deck and level them up if you plan to make any more progress.
Legendary cards are not the end all be all to winning matches. I tried creating a deck with nothing but legendaries. It failed miserably. I made a deck with nothing but common cards. It worked well (mainly because there are more of them and better combinations). A legendary card at level 1 is really a common card at level 4. If you put all legendary cards at level 1 versus all common cards at levels 5, the commons will win. Simply because they are at a higher level.
If you have no legendaries, all I can say is work towards leveling up specific cards as fast as you can rather than leveling up all your cards slowly. Do this by finding what deck works best with synergy. You can do this with friendly battles, since they are are at equal footing. Then you start leveling up each card to level 5 for commons, 4 for rares, 3 for epics. Then you go the next step for each one (level 6 for commons, level 5 for rares, level 4 for epics).
All cards can be countered by other cards if you play them properly. for example, Stan of Many Moons, if a player is playing an Adventure deck, I expect him to come out. So I save my Mind Control until he does. The rate he moves and the rate he charges, I will always be able to control him as long as I don't send anyone over the halfway mark. Then I use his ability to wipe out his units. Every other counter, including SOMM, would also be with Unholy Combustion, **** Magic or Transmogrify.
I don't know how long you been playing, but it sounds like it's less than a month or two. We all been there. And we all adapt. Don't expect to get into the legendary rankings anytime soon.
NOPE!!.. I keep telling you you are fundamentally wrong! I have been playing for 3 months now but it does not matter. I have seen tons of scenarios in-game and on YouTube but that does not matter either. This is NOT about YOU or.. ME! If my proposal is accepted, the MAJORITY of the players will be happier. FACT!.. Now the question is, will I be able to get their attention...
They do monitor the forums. But they will not bend to this change in mechanic. What you are asking is for restrictions and limitations, or a "handicap" against players you think should lose against you (all because they have a Mecha Timmy or Stan of Many Moons).
Let's say for a minute they do grant your request, this is how it might go:
You play without legendaries against players such as yourself without legendaries. You may still lose based on the luck of the draw, deck construction or even skill of unit placement. You may even get a few wins. Now, through your endeavors of months of play, you see a legendary in your lockers. You spend a few cash to get it but you finally have a legendary and decide to use it. Now, you find yourself playing against players who also have a legendary. But because you haven't leveled it up high enough to be effective, you are still losing.
The point of common, rare, epic and legendary is they are more difficult to acquire, so they should be more difficult to defeat in matches. But there is a balance involved. Some legendaries do not go well with other cards. I find that the best combo cards are not even legendaries. Try doing a Canadian Knight Ike with a Robin Tweek combo.
The other flaw in your logic is that you are assuming that everyone is unhappy. You only see the complaints because unhappy people WILL complain. But you can compare that with how many people are actually playing the game, you'll see you are actually the minority. I would be interested in see what a top tier player thinks of this (or anyone else within the top 1000 rankings). I doubt they are unhappy with the way the mechanics are.
I do quite well in my deck. Only use 1 legendary. The majority of complainers about matchmaking is about high ranking players that purposefully derank themselves to get easier wins. That is the biggest complaint right now. Unfortunately, that is also the meta of the game. I've already purposed an algorithm for matchmaking, but that won't be used. Like I've said before, nobody wants to win 50% of the time. People are more happy winning 75% of the time. They already changed matchmaking based on rank to base on ranking points. But that is really not much different from rank.
This subject is quite moot. You should read up on the older threads about people complaining about matchmaking. You'll see that it's very difficult to resolve. It used to be really bad back when you could not leave the legendary ranks once you got in. I nearly gave up the game until they started resetting the ranks each month.
