I'm sorry to hear that's occurred,

If you haven't already, the first thing we'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for any missing or corrupt files and replace them. You can do this by clicking on the menu under the game icon in uplay.

I'd also advise making sure you have the latest drivers for your GPU. It may also be worth a Clean Install of the drivers, in case there's some corruption that's occurred there.

If it is persistent after that I would suggest that you contact our technical support team on our support site

Please provide a DXDIAG and MSINFO report with the case so that the team can investigate.
You can find instructions on how to create these files and attach them to this ticket in the links below:

Are you certain that the game is using the right GPU? check that NVDIA Optimus has selected the right GPU with the steps below.
    • Click ‘Start’ and open the ‘Control Panel’
    • Open the ‘NVIDIA Control Panel’, select ‘Manage 3D Settings’ and then ‘Program Settings’
    • In step 1 select the game in question, if necessary click ‘Add’ and browse to the games application to add it.
    • In step 2 under ‘Select the preferred graphics processor for the program’ select ‘High performance NVIDIA processor’

    Thanks
